    Recruiting D-Howard

I asked Howard yesterday how he likes Houston so far and he told me he loved Houston. Then I went on and asked him that OK then give us some thoughts he just smiling after that.

your lack of knowledge on basketball is making my point...this is Asik first season as a full time starter and only been playing basketball since he was 17 y/o which is how old he was when Howard was drafted in the NBA in 2004...in the 9 seasons has Howard improved as a player??? the answer is Hell No!! in the 2 1/2 seasons Asik has improved 110% of his game and right now is Top 15 in 9 statistical categories in the Association...Lance Zierlien told me since 7 of 9 of those are rebounding categories they hold no weight which is non sense if the NBA consider this as different categories then this a achievemet in itself!!!! and last argument on this subject from me is Tim Duncan is a lesser form of star then Dwight Howard and how many rings does Duncan have??? we need to build a team like SA and not just throw money around at these quote unqoute superstars!!!

I don't know why anyone wouldn't want to go all in with Dwight and Harden... as long as he undergoes a thorough physical analysis by back and shoulder specialists. Would be the next Hakeem and Clyde; Yao and Tracy-type combination.

he is still a baby on the offensive side...he just started to work on his o game in the off season...he misses a lot of point blank shots aroun the basket earlier in the season and miss reading passes...but last ten ganes he is shooting 60 % from the field, 12 PPG and 14 RPG so guess what this means he has been improving his game during the season and the most important stat to me is that he has played in ALL i repeat ALL 55 GAMES this season for us...im not trying to switch yall opinion on him but facts is facts and he is improving and I think it would be foolish to move him to free up space for someone like Howard but what do I know....How did we beat Lakers the first time this season...HACK A HOWARD!!!

I think he may need to see a shrink, too, in addition to the physical checkup.

You know what? I thought like that at the beginning of the season, Jeremy would be great with D12, however if Nash can't make this Dwight look good!!!

I think the Orlando Dwight with his monstrous athleticism is gone and it ain't never coming back, sure he still athletic but not to the point where he can get away with the fact that he has no offensive go to move or his lack of heart and desire and the biggest thing - his mental age!!

10.5% state income tax in California for salaries above 1 million dollars. (Jeezus that's high.)

Jeremy Lin's Chinese connections = MO MONEY MO MONEY MO MONEY.

Yeah, he'd make serious scratch in L.A., but I think he'd be happier in Houston. That said, I won't hold my breath for him to come here. If he does, great. If he doesn't, Morey'll have a good Plan 1b.

He is the best big man in the league. Only problem is he act like a child. He belongs to Nets with his bf DWill. I bet they will set a record that no one can beat. The record? Getting the most coach fired.

If DH can't work with Kobe and Nash under MDA,
how can he works with Harden and Lin?

The Rockets have about $15M in cap and Dwight's max is around $20M. There'll also be no money left over to sign Llull.

Make the trade before June 30 and they get the MLE to add more pieces around Harden & Dwight.

Why do you keep saying Howard hasn't improved over the course of his career?

Do you really feel that's true?

Uh what? Morey has been on the record numerous time saying that we have MAX cap room. Last time i checked that was not 15 million. If Dwight really wants to play here all he has to do its sign a contract. Simple. There is no way morey does a S&T with max cap room, thats just stupid and if L.A. does not trade him before the deadline they have no leverage to force one either.

We are in a position of no hurry and Morey knows that.

    Stars attract stars...

    Perception...

    Influence...

Fact of the matter is. Dwight could suck the rest of this season/next season in Houston. Even if it doesn't work out, teams would still drool at the opportunity of trading for him. It mostly has to do with his "SUPERSTAR!!!" status.

With Harden still being just 23 on a, what, 5 year contract? Rockets are good regardless. Would you roll the dice knowing you wont crap out? #WinWinSituation

It'd be nice to get him, but if we did, what would become of Asik? Its clear Howard cannot work with another post player.

Do we trade him for a stretch four? Or another kind of player?

You keep asik, he's only signed to a three year deal anyways. Dwight has been known to get in foul trouble a lot, asik would be the perfect back up. Plus you can shut down the paint with him and Howard against teams like Miami and OKC.

Remember the visions of that crappy Nene and gasol Front court back in the day? Imagine Asik and Howard, the other team would NEVER get a rebound.
