and I quote -- Good Morning - I hope everyone is enjoying All-Star weekend in Houston. I will start by saying I'm an avid die-hard Houston Rockets fan. From the days of our first titles, to acquiring Charles Barkley, The T-Mac and Yao Era, and now the James Harden era. But what is honestly killing me is NOT being able to watch the games. The city supports the NBA (as shown this weekend) and the definitely support the Rockets. Daryl Morey has finally fulfilled his promise on landing a marquee building block and the majority of the city cannot tune in. With all of this being said, its time for the Playoff stretch and we want to be able to watch OUR team. Mr. Alexander, Mr. Crane, CSN-Houston, everyone involved...do it for the fans! Thanks for your time. Regards, Rueben Who knows if anyone will ever read it, but its worth a shot!!
I used to write letters to Hakeem Olajuwon, but he only responded and said I should join his official fan club. It cost like 20, what a ripoff.
This letter is one of MANY and the problem will continue to go on. The sad part is that once an agreement is reached and we all can watch Rockets' games again, all will be forgotten and forgiven by the majority.
Hopefully this will be resolved by next season. I think most of us can forget about watching games this year until the playoffs or later in the season if ESPN picks up some games.
You guys can make fun of him all you want. At least he took the time to try and help in this madness of not being able to watch the Rockets. What have the rest of you done? Have you signed the petiton? If so great. If not, stop flaming and go sign it.
Sorry, I haven't been following this drama, but I am out of town and I always watch online. In case there's anyone who doesn't know: http://www.firstrow1.eu/sport/basketball.html
