Yeah, all of the tickets are reserved for ticket agencies who jack up the price, friends and family. Not many Houstonians were there tonight. I saw Dwight Howard, Javale McGee, KD, Westbrook, NeYo, Blake Griffin, and LeBron James today at the Galleria and it was LOUD. Those are real fans. LeBron exiting the building was crazy.
What an embarrassing weekend for Houston... Not much else we can do with those ticket prices and non-stars participating.
Well you can see why most of the people who went wouldn't be enthusiastic about a contest with little stars especially considering most of our Houston crowd in the front rows is too busy on iphones or w.e.
well no ****ing wonder he would get networking in his favor for the part of the contest that is the fan vote. Smart guy tbh...
I don't do shopping malls, I'm a sports fan.. If I want to see athletes I go to a sporting event not the mall. Who to blame for weak ass crowd at toyota center?? Whose fault is it to jack up the prices for a freaking all star game?? I wanna know who is to blame?
So wait a minute, there's no wealth in Houston??? You mean to tell me rich people can't get hyped up, really??? Are we really blaming the ticket price??? If I can afford $1500 tickets to an all star game, I think I'd be pretty hyped up...
I posted a comment in another thread. Who sets the prices? Is it Houston or the NBA? If it's Houston, then complaints should be aimed at their front office.
I'm glad I didn't waste any money on this weekend. I don't do shopping malls either. My sister really wanted to go to the game, but I told her the tickets were too expensive. This was the next best thing for her. Got to the Galleria at three, finished at 6, did some shopping after and left. Blame the ticket brokers who don't allow you to buy tickets for a single event without selling you a bunch of crap you don't want to see at all. The tickets never went on sale to the public. The All-Star Game is tomorrow. We actually get to see some stars play during All-Star weekend.
