I went there first. The guy said we have seen a ton of these cases especially with the iPhone 4, and apple refuses to address it. He didn't have a fix for it, other than to tell me to go to the apple store to see if they would do anything. I went to the one on Wesleyan near the Costco. I don't get some of u. I didn't go in there yelling, or insulting the dude. I was calm, and merely showed some tone of irritation after the way he responded to my concern. Easy to blame it on me and my attitude I guess. It sure can't be Cam's fault at the Highland Village store. Let's see what the manager says after my not so nice review. I am expecting a call next week.
I am thinking about just ordering a Nexus 4 but now it's close to Nokia' announcement at MWC, and Samsung's S4 in March?

I took an imac that had stopped working during an internship. They wouldn't look at it because it was 3 years old. They said it was considered "vintage". The old man next to me took his new iphone in to ask some questions about syncing his contacts and the "genius" deleted his contacts on accident and wasn't able to get them back. The look on the kids face was priceless.
Then they should rename it to not give customers falls hope. Maybe "mostly smart but fallible" people.
it might have something to do with Apple employees just not being very smart... yep, that's it, I nailed it.
I have had issues with Apple hardware and they have repaired and worked on stuff right away, and even replaced stuff that was out of warranty a few days... but I went in there with a GOOD attitude. Try that next time, Sajan. Don't ask "is this supposed to last at all?"... you've turned the "I'm mad and I want to take it out on someone" switch within yourself.
