Agreed. Also I think he would be a lot cheaper and only 24 years old.

I know the thread is "Dream Big Man" but I think he's a very realistic get.

    Steve Novak.

I'll take the similar Patrick Patterson rebounding average, all he has to do is box out well and let the other 4 guys who are excellent rebounders for their positions get the ball.

On defense, he's always underestimated which almost always leads to a miss for the guy he's guarding.

On offense, he is a true 3-point shooting game difference maker shooting at elite percentages.

Didn't he say that in reference to getting that first star player? Now that we have Harden, that quote is not really in context.

Based on our team as constructed we need Defense and Rebounds, so guys like Kevin Love and LMA who I would love to have don't get me wrong wouldn't be the best fit I dont think. I would say Howard IF he could get motivated about playing for us would be the best fit, second I would say is Josh Smith, pairing Smith with Asik, Parsons, Harden, and Lin would be an outstanding Lineup and could compete every night to beat any team.

I see DMO as our future PF, hence I take the Dwight over Asik upgrade.

But there is 1 player, that I think can really trive in houston red is blake griffin.

I hate that punk, for his bullying and nuts hugging.
But that ever expanding low post game, his improving defense, youth and friendship with parsons.

I think the ideal fit would be Dwight. He's 3-time DPOY. Led the league in rebounds six times. Has a career 60 TS%. He's a great finisher inside and an easy alley oop target. He's taken 10+ FT/g for five straight years and still gets 9 FT/g this year despite much lower usage. His free throw attempts will stack with Harden's, as Kobe still draws 7.2 free throws with a less aggressive shot selection. Before this season, he missed 19 regular season games.

Everyone on the Lakers looks bad right now, but Morey still wants Dwight. If we can get him we are a much better team. Period.

Best to wait until after HGH testing is implemented before throwing a max on a big man. Just to make sure there's no buyer's remorse.

    This.

However, if we're trying to move Asik and upgrade? Dwight, Bynum then Cousins

Daryl Morey (Pre-Harden Trade) - "We can't be picky."

Daryl Morey (Post-Harden Trade) - "Be Patient." "We will have max salary cap room going into this coming off-season."

Not sure what this means... but I agree 100% and have become a better man for having watched it for 50 seconds straight.

    I like

    1. Bosh
    2. LMA

    3. Josh Smith

Everyone else is just meh. I realize if a GM can get Dwight, they absolutely should do it, but I have no desire to see him in Houston or on any other team I care about. He's infinitely more entertaining on the same team as Kobe.

Replacing Asik with Gortat.... would anyone do this?

Is it safe to say that the majority of Rockets fans will be ecstatic if Kevin Love somehow becomes a member of this team?
