Who knew it was MJ weekend and not AS weekend? (Yes, it is MJ's 50th birthday Sunday. Happy Birthday to the GOAT.) Great(long) read here - 'Michael Jordan has not left the building'
Unfortunate for youngsters having to relive Jordan through mix reels of his top moves. Watching any one of his games was like a highlight reel that left your jaw open the entire game.
It was so amazing growing up watching him play. Everyone i knew would be like Jordan is playing! And we would all gather around and watch non stop just so we didn't miss a thing. I loved those Sundays on NBC. It's just not the same. I understand and get Lebron will probably go down as high as 2-5th best ever and kobe is a top 15, but it's just not the same watching them play. What i would do to watch Dream and MJ play their careers out all over again. That's why i love NBA2k. I live out my fantasy of having the legends play with current players.
It really depends on your style. Those guys are more power where as MJ although had many power dunks, had mostly finesse. It's like poetry in the air. Every movement his body made mid air was like picture perfect pose for photos. Nique was amazing with his power windmills. Bron..eh..his dunks are just plain tomahawks. I was only amazed a few times when his head was at the rim. Carter though. Now that dude was amazing, and probably 1a to MJ 1b. Although i really could have done with the ghetto gang signs and what not he'd always do. That really ruined a lot of his dunks for me. Can't stand that stuff. Just stare em down. No stupid thug crap. MJ wins layups hands down.
I'm a huge Nique fan but driving from the perimeter past several defenders to dunk on someone was a regular thing for Jordan. If we're talking dunk contest, I'd go Nique. In game dunking in traffic, definitely Jordan.
