Who do you think is the best big man for this team and our system or the one you really want the Rockets to have.

Well when you put it like that, I realize I have never thought about this question before.

    Thank you, well done.

Either LaMarcus or Kevin please. Either or will make us a contender.

Aldridge easily and I say this because:
    - He's a true PF, meaning on the block and post up though he does seem to be able to shoot the three ;)
    - He has a great attitude, no real ego issues unlike Smith / Love. Just the humble presence we need
    - Texas native
    - Did you see what he did to our front court last time @ Toyota center ;)
    - He has no serious history of injuries
    - He stays within his role and does it to perfection, never really takes bad shots

Yeah, he's nice but doesn't really rebound as much as i would want a power forward to. Never averaged double-double.

    Here's my vote..

Kevin Love, he has a better post game then LMA and also has the ability to knock down threes. Not to mention the man rebounds like a god!

Chris Bosh would kill playing next to Asik and Harden.

Ryan Anderson over at the Pelicans.

I don't think we could get him very easily, but that guy is perfect for what this team needs -- dead eye 3 point shooter to spread the floor, solid rebounder, decent defender.

Basically he is the black Patrick Patterson.

Love does nothing in the post or on defense. Great player, but he wouldn't be a savior on our team in the least. We'd be 30th in defense every year.

We need a multi-faceted offensive player next to Asik who can
    - Shoot
    - Finish
    - Post-up
    - Bring athleticism
...and still be a solid defender. Bosh would be the most ideal but Miami isn't dealing him. Aldridge would check most of the boxes, and J.Smith would be a solid fit as well. Love would own the glass with Asik, but we'd still be weak in many areas up front.

That's one more player who would be a perfect fit for us right now. I have Love > Dwight > Bosh > LMA..

Kevin Love. Rebound much better than LMA since we will need the rebounding advantage when playing fluff frontcourt like the Heat and the Thunder and give us better spacing with his 3s. And LMA doesn't think shooting a lot of long 2s is bad for him. lol.
