    Dwight Howard = Always injured
    Kevin Love = Always injured

    Availability is WAY underrated

Durrant & Westbrook are never injured. Not that we could get one but IMO that makes their value significantly higher than say Chris Paul or Derrick Rose. I think you should average a player's stats over all the games including the ones they miss and compare those stats to their paycheck and see how it looks.

I don't mind getting damaged goods on the cheap and finding out they are healthy now and have no issues but I don't think it makes sense to pay top dollar for it.

    Gotta be big trades!

What about the guys who WILL be free agents this summer? Are their teams all going to let them walk for nothing?

LA, PHI, ATL, LAC are all going to let their stars walk?

    Pretty unlikely.

Dwight, always injured? You are one naive fellow.

No trade means blockbuster trade is coming. That's how the man works. That my friends, is how business is done.

Remember when Morey said that the team at the end of preseason was going to be their team going in to the season? Then, James Harden happened. These GMs aren't going to give the fans false hope. The crazy thing is that behind closed doors, the Rockets could be close to landing Howard at this minute. It's unlikely, but you never know.

I honestly like our current team. Patrick Patterson is playing better, improving, and D-Mo is getting his rhythm to the NBA game. And to be honest if we trade for Millsap or Josh Smith, we'll lose Carlos Delfino, who is important to our team. And I just rather see the team develop and build a good chemistry together and see how fun this team is. I can wait for the summer.

I smell another off-season of Dwight Howard incoming if the Rockets don't pick up more salary for next year at the deadline.

Keep Harden and Asik and everyone else is fair game... Those guys are replaceable.

Rockets coach Kevin McHale is clearly hoping the cap room is eventually spent on a big-time player, though he's not about to assume as much.

"I've never seen Cap Room score a basket yet though," McHale said recently. "I've seen old Cap, and his last name is Room, I've yet to see him put a hoop in, haven't seen him block a shot, haven't seen him get a rebound yet. But when Cap Room starts putting up numbers, we should be in great shape."

Jokes aside, McHale said Houston has plenty to offer prospective free agents.

"It's a good city," he said. "It's a city, I think, that people want to come to; a lot of players live there in the offseason. I think it's a nice draw. And then having a guy like James, of course, is a big draw."

Translation: I learned my lesson talking about deals at the prior deadlines and dont want the players to mail it in. So I will say we will do nothing, and if someone we want becomes available, I will deal my wife and children for them.

"Yeah, take the wife, take the kids---PLEASE! (little f****** brats)...but you can't have my dog. He's a good dog. He's off-limits. Don't even look at him when talking trade."

    "What's his name?"

    "LeBron."

I wonder how tough it would be for other players to get rebounds when you have Love and Asik boxing out and getting position for those boards.
