http://www.kirotv.com/videos/news/stoned-drivers-hit-test-course/vqPqJ/ The legal limit is just wayyyyy to low. However it does show that there is a limit to the point that it does effect your driving. Taken this test and real-life and have never failed
I'd prefer it that way. People don't usually take a test before driving to know if they're over or under the limit; they're guessing based on how they feel. So, I'd like to draw the arbitrary line well below the danger point, to have a little room for slop.
That is because you have never smoked before. You would have to smoke allloottt to get to the point you cannot drive as the video demonstrated. Anyone who plans on smoking that much already isn't planning on driving to begin with, or they will mellow out 30 minutes until they can drive.
2 points..... 1. The danger with alcohol is that people are much less likely to be able to judge their impairment level. You get stoned....you know you're stoned. 2. Alcohol is a much more powerful and deadly substance and it's effects linger much longer. In 30 minutes, your typical weed buzz is going to dissipate quite a bit. If your drunk and wait 30 minutes, you're still going to be almost as drunk as you were before..sometimes drunker.
