Not sure if I heard this right but towards the end of the 3rd quarter Dwight sets a screen for Kobe and Dwight rolls strong to the basket and pins his man and asked for the ball.....Kobe dribbles for a couple seconds then drives and Lakers gets called for three seconds. Not sure which players said this but I heard someone says "Come on man" and someone replies "get out of the ****in lane". Will try to look for it on Youtube.
Kobe boasted about how he bonded with Bynum last All-Star. Same case with Dwight? Kobe: "I don't ... "I don’t know how much more we need to strengthen it really," Bryant said of his relationship with Dwight Howard. "I think it’s where it should be. The communication that I have with him is about execution and about what he needs to do on the court. That’s where it’s going to stay." There you have it. 9 minutes ago
^^^ My bad, didn't mean to derail this awesome thread. It should be reserved for how much the Lakers suck.
Report: Howard still thinks he's going to Brooklyn It is from Stephen A. so...tifwiw. "He's not happy. He's not happy being in LA. He's not happy playing along side Kobe no matter what he says."
Everyone forgets... as much as a jackass as Stephen A is in general, he did break the whole Miami Big 3 thing a few years ago.
Well it doesn't take much analysis to see Dwight being unhappy in El Aye. As to where he's speculated to go after this season, that's where the news is.
Ya I don't think Dwight's personality fits the bball culture of LA. Everybody's calling him out, not just Kobe. When the leaders of the team don't like your attitude, there's only two things you can do. Shift your focus to what the team needs, or sulk and play the victim role. If it's the latter, sooner or later he's going o be shown the door. Btw, people forget that Bryant and Nash will have one more year together in the league next season, and if the Lakers make some moves to get younger in the off season while keeping Clark and Hill, they are still going to be very potent. **** Dwight
Yes, it's plain he and Kobe can't go another season together. This time, it might be Kobe that loses though. If I'm the Lakers, I don't want a 35 year-old Bryant running off a 27 year-old Dwight Howard. The Lakers need to end Kobe's reign of terror. Preferably by the deadline.
