Dmo owned odom when he backed him down under the goal for that short lay in.

Thats non sense that odom owned him strength wise. Gross hyperbole.

Well depends on the kind of donuts. Jelly, or glazed? Or perhaps sprinkles?

the most impressive thing to me about D-Mo last night was how he played on offense without the ball, and when he posted up he was sealing off his defender so the guard can make an easy entry pass. he was always getting open just setting picks, rolling or cutting quickly to the basket. one time he was open 2 or 3 seconds 5 feet from the rim, but Beverley didn't pass it and a couple other times the guards missed him. this is a very welcome added dimension to the rockets offense that is often stagnate from too much standing around.

No. dmoneybangbang is right, xtruroyaltyx. Odom was pushing DMo out of position more often than not. The play you're talking was early, then the vet said, "Who is this. OK, game on then, yungin."

Completely agree. But on the other hand D-Mo was so much quicker and more agile than any other big on the court. Strength and balance can be improved. Agility, quickness and seven feet is just something you have to be born with.

Completely agree, too. That's why we're so excited about him.

7 footers with 3-point range and that kind of quickness/agility are so rare

I know it was garbage time but it was so nice seeing D-Mo get some real burn. The offense looked different with him out there. Without Harden it really looked like I was watching a different team sometimes. The last thing you want is for your offense to get too predictable, especially in the playoffs, would love to see more of D-Mo just to switch up the offense on the other teams a little. Plus we have been looking for a good roll man all season. I hope he's it.

He doesn't HAVE to be "down there"

Which is why he needs to play... Even with Asik.

everyones offense is predictable in the playoffs. Players call opposing sets all the time.

    You gotta appreciate D-Mo's attitude.

Never complains, wants to play, works hard, tries hard to get better and fights for his roster spot.

We've got a true gem in out hands as you can combine all of the above with good size, real talent, long range, mobility, craftiness, competitiveness and confidence, and true low post play.

And he's still just getting started.

I'd still like to see him add more strength and mass so that opposing bigs don't bounce him around easy.

On PTI they were joking about the play where he bounced it off an opponent and kept calling him D Money.

    I thought that's a pretty good nickname.

It is a difficult choice for D-Mo and the Rockets. The quickest and most agile big on the court, or enough mass not to get moved by the strong centers and power forwards in the league.

And who is quicker, faster and more agile - D-Mo or Parsons?

It is. But we don't want national biased media like ESPN making the names for our organization, setting the trends as some all powerful enterprise. We have to start claiming it as our OWN specifically to SPITE that dreaded network.

I do like his temperament. He's mixed in some cockiness and big talk before, but I'm with it. He's set a high bar and know what it takes to get there.

Rockets have a few of "those" kinda guys. Its still a shame the Comcast thing isnt resolved for locals to watch them.

Are you suggesting that DMo could play SF? That would be a HUGE lineup if you had Patterson, DMo, and Asik in the game at the same time.
