It's because each team has a Pacer starter (Hibbert and Lance Stephenson). It makes both teams elite.

Idk if your 55% from mid range is for actually mid range (which would make him one of the best in the league) or fg%(more likely)... If your gonna penetrate id want a spacing 4, not an inside post player... Hibbert is taking up space, and ibaka isnt supplying much space either for Parker to drive and dish at will...not complaining on green or pierce..also lets say your facing a killer PnR/slasher(idk harden maybe) while they supply great shoot blocking and defense in the post it would leave someone who's is a stretch four (idk bosh maybe) with open looks for harden to kick out to.. And while ibaka id great defending the post and he can't defend by the wrong if bosh was there..if he did guard him by the 3 it would leave harden with the lame more open...

Wasn't anyone in the 5th that shot the 3rd best percentage from 3 while making the 3rd most and provided defense. Couldn't think of a single role player who does this, usually it's one or the other.

T, good fast break team, enough scoring ability to match syd, and some defense. Batum has enough length and his lankyness to bother Anthony. Bench is also slightly better.

ok, i'm not sure if Red changed his vote to full for Yung-T or not, so I'm just going to give 0.49 to Yung-T and 0.51 to Syd, which makes it 3-5:

    1. RedNation vs. Spooner
    5-0
    2. Sydeffect vs. Yung-T
    3-5
    3. Fallen vs. Jmc
    5-0
    4. rr14 vs. Donatas
    2-5

Ok so he makes shots at a 49.8% clip at about 5 a game from 10-23ft... This is good but if you look closer 84%of this buckets resulted from assists...likely meaning defense break downs cheating Durant and westbrook... The farther he gets the lower his percentage of a bucket gets and the higher the assist rate gets...

Which tells me he gets allot of benefit from the players he's with...

And he's with Parker, Pierce and Hibbert. Though not on the same level as a durant/westbrook combo, they'll still demand enough attention to free him up.

good point. but as far as spacing goes, that's what matters the most. Can you cheat off the guy and where can you cheat off the guy? If you can't leave a big open 18 ft from the basket, that's spacing.
For this reason a team with lets say Marc Gasol+KG will likely have better spacing than a team with Asik+Dirk, even though Dirk is the best shooter in that group and can hit a ton of 3s. But neither Gasol or KG can't be given any room in the high post or even 20ft from the basket as they can make those shots. While Asik away from the basket is fairly useless as long as there's a guy cutting off his path to the rim.

Re that particular example.. i think it again depends a lot on how you treat Hibbert's health. If he's healthy, he's proven to be a solid shooter for a center. He's no Sabonis, not even Yao as a midrange shooter but he's no Dwight either. He has to be respected all the way up to the FT line.
Of course this year he can't even be relied on for 5ft bunnies.

If Hibbert is ok, that team seems very well spaced. Parker is very solid from mid range and you can't even give him open 3s. Ibaka is solid. Hibbert is ok-ish. Pierce and Green have 3pt range.
If Hibbert is not ok, then spacing is a bit shaky but stil ok.
