I don't see why the Warriors do that. Klay is one of the most promising young players and is cheaper than Gordon. Biedrins' contract, while overpaid only has 2 years left. I suspect Anthony Morrow gets traded for Rip Hamilton and a first rounder. Also, Orlando will make a push for either Jennings or Evans.
Nobody expected Rockets to get Harden and Lin. Expect the unexpected LOVE TO HOUSTON!!!!!!!!!!!! I can see it
Because the Warriors have nobody that takes the ball to the rim. They need someone to attack and not settle for jump shots like Barnes, Curry, and Klay all do. Gordon also brings some good leadership to the team and is the better player. Biedrins has 2 years left on the contract that they can take off the books. Klay Thompson will be a RFA in 3 years and will end up getting Gordon money. In the long run, this isn't a financial deal for either team. It's a swap of talent for better fits. Klay will be a better fit to grow with Anthony Davis.
No sure why Chicago would give up a first for that trade. They would still be over the tax line and Hamilton's deal is only 1 Mil gua. for next year
Really? Didn't know that. Why all the fuss over trading Hamilton then (Bima's mentioned before, I think)?
That's a really interesting trade. The Warriors desperately need someone to collapse the defense and take the ball to the rim.
Chicago needs to move about 3 Mil to get under the tax line. Morrow only makes 1 Mil less than Hamilton so Chicago would still be over tax line with that trade.
