You could always put Motiejunas at PF so you'd have 2 7 footers.

We're not giving up Parsons...unless it is the end move that practically guarantees us a championship. Gordon would be an interesting piece to flip to Minny for Love. But I don't see him being acquired to stay here long term, only as part of some multi-team trade. If Morey could combine some guys to acquire Gordon and use Gordon and another young prospect to flip for Love, that would be a very tempting roster to present to Big D during the offseason. Odds of it happening is low. Morey is not just going to give up Parson to add Gordon to the current mix. Not going to happen.

Why? I thought we were after an elite post presence?

Eric Gordon is owed 58.37 mil over 4 years....Hell no!

Morey did say he was wanting a second star no matter the position. It is all about collecting assets lol. If we were to pick up Gordon I think he would be flipped for something else later.

WHY!!?? Worry about PLAYERS .......ill take a 6'5 harden at SF over 2/3 of the rest of the SF starting in the NBA now.....Lin and Harden do a decent job defensively so there is not much of a drop -off. Plus EG is a legit borderline All-Star that hasnt even peaked yet.

    Make it happen Morey......

if not anything he can be used in a trade for a bigger fish......

82 games in an NBA season
Gordon makes $14 mil per year, for the next 4 years

    09' - 78 games
    10' - 62 games
    11' - 56 games
    12' (66 game season) - 9 games
    13' - 18 games so far

max player, not as good as Harden, plays same position, similar skill-set, has never played a full season.

In what world would this make any sense? The Rockets are not trading for Eric Gordon.

...and i actually really like him as a player btw

Also, when was the last time ESPN broke a Rockets' trade or even hinted at a correct trade before it actually took place.

I actually think Portland could benefit by trading for Gordon ....Actually better than the Rockets will.Lillard needs a running mate (e.gordon is almost a perfect pick-B.Roy lite) and LMA may be what makes that happen.....If the rockets cant swing this deal first after and if they acquire Gordon.........

I doubt they would trade Lin if Ego comes here. We would be set at our 3 guard rotation, and they already have Vazquez.

I would rather see a gordon + Harden backcourt. Harden already handles the ball a ton and EG is a better shooter than lin.

If it were to happen it wouldn't be for long term. The rockets need another star, the thing is with our current set of players not exactly easy to come by. If we can flip for a star, it will be easier to flip for a star in the position we need. Kind of like buying stocks low and selling high.

When is the last time that Morey has made either a horrible decision or a horrible trade?
