Les Alexander watches these games too. If he's seeing what some of the people on this forum claims to see, then he'd be more than willing to pay out McHale's contract and get a new coach. If anything, he's the closest thing we have to a LOF on the rockets organization.

McHale subsitution patterns are mind-boggling, just make no sense. Keeps playing players that foul a lot and are hurting the team, takes a player out for a minute and then brings them back etc.

I am ****ing sick of this LOF thing when it comes to McHale. He is not a **** coach because he doesn't play Lin properly. He is just a **** coach overall. The whole Lin debate is just one thing.

Where the **** was 2Pat after all those terrible plays from Morris?
Where was Asik when we started closing the lead?

Oh and about the lead, we started getting closer when he gave up and put DMo on the court who added some energy.

We lost to Clippers because of his terrible handle on Lin (making him passive after a ****ing TO) + ALL THE ****ING BAD SUBSAND

In particular why was he going with Marcus Morris over Ppat. And then when we're down by 15 with two minutes left he finally puts Ppat in for Morris. Really bizarre.

If nothing else being blown out by the Clips forced him to play D-Mo. Unless he's completely incompetent D-Mo will probably get some more minutes now.

****, I can't even type out of frustration. This kind of **** happens in every ****ing game. We win if our 3s fall and lose terribly because he can't make adjustments for ****. He is terrible. He should be let go. His HOF ego is ruining this team as I am pretty sure he doesn't think he had any responsibility in any of our losses.

You want a good Rockets team, get this hack out of here!!

I'm not going to make a judgement on whether he's a good coach or bad coach. All my comment was implying is that there are people like Les Alexander who will make that judgement, and it would be because of rotations, usage of Lin, playing rookies, whatever.

I was very dissappointed in the hiring of McHale, and nothing has changed since that day as far as I am concerned.

That's a good point, I hardly see Michael put blame on himself

I can guarantee that if the Rockets had fired Mchale the Rockets would play the same way...So what exactly is Mchale doing to help the team??

Only thing I'm tired of is dudes start screaming how Mchale hates Lin and doesn't want him to succeed every time he touches the bench...

Other than that...Mchale's been pretty uninspiring.

If Lin is truly this soft, then he needs to play in the WNBA. A league where the players are ball-less and the coaches can't be too angry at them. Otherwise, they start to cry.

Do you think he could have made adjustments for tonight's game if Harden wasn't going to play?

    We lost because,

    Bad Turnovers,
    Bad Coaching
    Bad Substation
    Bad Defense
    Can't Hit Open Three's

I think you misunderstand. Lin was asked to play passively. Why?! (I am not going to defend Lin's D as I think he wasn't as good yesterday and today as he was in the rest of the season) He was doing fine on offense, he was making things happen. I hate the I-don't-know-basketball-and-I-am-a-Lin-fan crowd as much as the next person but I am starting to think that they have a point: McHale doesn't like Lin.

Also, that help defense on Griffin. It wasn't just Lin. Beverley and other players went for help too. You know why? Because it is a coaching decision. He would rather put PFs for C and SFs for PF and then ask for help defense. Against a team which can make those 3s.

After DMo's decent performance, Asik should have been on the court. We should have tried to force them into foul trouble. Also, why did 2Pat never got any plays called for him? Morris shot a ton.

McHale is dumb and a bad coach and the Lin angle is just a tiny part of the argument.

I also noticed that in the first quarter after Lin fouled Paul, Sampson just shook his head in disdain.

This attitude from McHale detractors can be summed up as follows.

After Rockets blowout their opponent: Silence
After Rockets win nicely: McHale sucks, but the Rockets are winning regardless
After the Rockets win ugly: McHale sucks, and the Rockets only got lucky
After the Rockets lose: McHale needs to be fired and the loss proves it

After Harden has a big game: McHale sucks for putting so much pressure on Harden, not letting others *cough*Lin*cough* show their games.
After Harden has a below average game: McHale sucks for not running the offense through others
After Lin has a big game: McHale sucks for not letting Lin play Linsanity level every single game
After Lin has a bad game: McHale sucks for not giving Lin opportunities or had the right PF/C to catch Lin's passes
After Lin has a lot of minutes: If Lin played well, then McHale sucks for not always give Lin lots of minutes. If Lin played badly, then McHale sucks for playing Lin even though Lin's clearly tired and needs rest
After Lin has relatively low minutes: Self evident...

Congrats! You just brought it back to the Lin argument and ignored every other thing McHale does wrong.
