    It seems like Lin only has 2 gears:

    Linsanity gear: shoots with confidence, reckless abandon, turnovers
    Passive gear: shoots with no confidence, dribble dribble dribble, bail me out Harden

    He's had maybe 5 games this season where it was a nice balance of the two.

    I think McHale is an adequate coach, but his coaching isn't going to help Lin's development because Lin's thought process is not that of an athlete, but of a scholar. But it shouldn't be McHale that needs to change, it should be Lin who learns to play well under coaches who do not favor him. I think throughout his career, the coaches he played well for all treated him like their own son, his freshmen year at Harvard before Amaker, he had a terrible season.

    I'm not a big fan of McHale but fair is fair. This team is doing well with him.

    I think now looking back at it that brutal and completely unfair stretch of B2B games in January was more at fault for the teams slide more than anything at the time.

    It's cool to see DMo, but it's more a sign of throwing in the towel than a look at him for real minutes. Hope he impresses though.

    How many assists do we have this quarter? 1? For God's sake McHale, let the frigging PG INITIATE the offense. You are putting Chandler in a bad spot making him initiate things.

    Some players react differently to being yelled at. No idea how Lin works but most grown men don't react well to being yelled at.

    yah was curious how lin is really sucking it up since coach let him have it. almost like he is overthinking/second guessing himself. also, i hate cp's entitled attitude on wanting more foul calls... Total bs

    Lin will be fine.

    It's just you guys being melodramatic, acting like Lin just took a bullet. Players get chewed out by their coaches. Just because it happens to Lin doesn't mean we need to take a deep look into coaching philosophy.
