what do you mean? Hibbert has been playing with an injury, he had a tear in his shooting wrist since the Miami series which is making his hand stiff and which has clearly been bothering his shooting touch this year. Similar with Dwight (bad back -> worse mobility and worse defense this year), Rubio (leg -> worse defense and scoring ability until lately), Deng (torn wrist ligament in his shooting hand -> worse shooting), Love (broken shooting hand -> worse shooting).
We agreed to assume health, so I'm assuming health.

If you imply that i'm somehow voting pro-Hibbert because I'm a Pacers fan, then go look at my votes from these drafts half a year ago. I was very anti-Hibbert compared to all of you since you guys were imagining Hibbert as some big time star with no flaws.
It's not my fault that you guys go over the top criticizing or loving some Pacers player, I'm just telling how I see it. :p

both are good defenses but I think Fallen's is better. He has 3 all-defense level players, you have Dwight. I think his D is clearly better at 2-3-4 spots, yours is better at 1 and 5. Benches are both kind of meh. You have better defensive little guys off the bench, he has better bigs.
Overall, I think you are overrating MKG. He's nice and he'll be a lockdown defender in a few years but he's not quite elite atm. Frankly, if you wanted a true stopper, should've gone with Mbah a Moute, there are very few perimeter defenders on par with him but he always gets passed because of his offense.

I think it's basically 50-50. I tried doing this via the categories, and i ended up 3-3. So i made the decision based on intangibles - personalities, leadership, experience, brains. I think it does matter if everything else is more or less even.

Were we assuming health or play this year? I think the health thing had to do with if the person was injured, ala varejao.. You can't say he's injured, so you have to assume he was playing healthy like he was... But varejao was treating it up and if he want injured he'd still be keeping that pace out something relative...

Buttt if i assume full health than why would i take harden over Dwight? Because he hasn't played great because of health...

Maybe I'm wrong and your right but that was my interpretation of it... many players with health issues reduced as players, but still played...

But its ok... Its your opinion and your usually more insightful than most so it doesn't bother me...

I was honestly making a lighthearted joke...

i think we assume that the players are playing at a reasonable level that they'd play if healthy. I mean, you drafted Dirk in the first 2013 draft a few days ago above Blake, Bosh, Kobe, Curry, Tony Parker, etc. He's not nearly as good as those players this year... So why would you draft him there? But in that case and similar cases we assume the player got healthy.

Re Dwight.. well, i don't know why you drafted Harden over Dwight.. I think it's 50/50. I think a healthy Dwight is the better overall player but ofc hs salary is much bigger and even if Dwight gets healthy, he still has the same personality and attitude that's proving to be a problem so far in LA.
Also, his free throw shooting has gone from "probably just a freak year, he's usually a 60% shooter" to "ok, maybe he did become a 50% shooter".
So I can see a good case for drafting Harden over Dwight.
But I do think Jamers robbed you in that deal for the pick... :p

I drafted dirk because i had Dwight and dirk is the ultimate fc partner and makes absolutely perfect spacing and a ridiculous front court... I could have taken bosh as he's the better player and makes for good spacing but wanteda clutch shooter...Blake imo makes for bad spacing...steph likely would have been the better pick and a great duo s would Parker, but i decided a dominant fc was more important...

Besides you yourself critiqued him as playing badly, and it was due to health, but you didn't assume he was playing like his 100% but rather how he had been playing...

Hibbert hasn't been playing well this year imo...although you would know more than me...

Its your vote and opinion and your entitled to it... I still like you...

    Lol rookie treatment.

Well I think my bench is great considering jr and jack are leading that young group. Well, nevermind.

Well to be fair, you drafted badly...:p

Gay/blake as your one/two just don't contend in these fantasy drafts, in real life maybe.

I'm pretty sure i didn't... Dirk was one of the main reasons of why i voted for LCAhmed in that draft... http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showpost.php?p=7604321&postcount=1168

Maybe i said that Dirk sucks this year somewhere in the middle of that draft, i don't remember. But I also said that LeBron is just a stat stuffer in the middle of that draft after the Pacers win...

Anyway, i like you too.. :)

you ran into a great team..
but you traded a bit too much too. I mean, you went from Kobe-ZBO to Blake-Davis to save cap space... And you didn't use most of that cap space.. ;)
