    i wouldn't suggest a career as a trader, a bookie, or a person with a clue.

He hasn't proposed any spending cuts, only tax hikes. What compromise?

Obama has achieved an amazing and enviable political position. Unlike past presidents, he is not seen as responsible for the condition of the country, but rather as a crusader fighting to improve the conditions of the country. Despite having been in charge 4+ years. A fawning press is his biggest asset in this regard.

A crusader needs demons and straw men for his morality play. So it's all evil rich people and Republicans fault.

It doesn't matter that the sequester was Obama's idea. It doesn't matter that the House has passed multiple bills replacing the sequester. It doesn't matter that Obama and the Senate have offered no proposals of their own. Obama good. GOP bad. Scoreboard bro. Water bottle lol.

With the sequester they want another back room deal that must be voted on at the last minute, that no one has time to read. Nothing in the light of day. Nothing debated. A take-it-or-leave-it crap sandwhich. How Obama is used to doing business.

It looks as if the GOP is done with all that.

    Links?

If you embraced the mystery and legend that was baylorbear09, you would be triply pleased by this thread's recent improvements.

But you take these great gifts as insult, so I bow, beg forgiveness, and exit just as I arrived: humbly.

Fact checking =/= Pointing out ONLY everything in a speech that could potentially be a lie or spin. Again, this ain't journalism.

The reason for fact checking is to find the inaccuracies so they can be fixed. The fact checker at the Washington Post doesn't go to the journalist and tell them all the things they said right. They point out the problems.

I know that there was a poster named baylorbear who was a white guy who pretended to be a black lady once. I do not why they are referencing that. Don't bother asking for an explanation, you will not get one, just sit back and let them have their fun.
