Nothing depresses me more than people who refuse to be happy. I used to be very unhappy because I.just didn't appreciate the good things. If you came to this site for Lin I understand. But if you can't be happy with the current state of the team including Lin I don't get it.

Rockets can win without Harden. I'm sure the other guys will enjoy getting more touches.
Start Douglas at SG and Lin at PG. Bring Beverly off the bench. Play 6'6" Anderson off the bench against Crawford who is 6'5".

Questioning Harden's toughness or priorities after last night is flat out preposterous and irresponsible. That guy played on a bum knee that was clearly still painful and a horribly twisted ankle. He could have bowed out after either of those injuries, but he kept getting up and he played fearlessly. I gained a new level of respect for him last night. Much like when Yao was hurt against the Lakers in the playoffs, but he refused to go out and played like a warrior. Shame on you for trying to insinuate that Harden doesn't care about winning when not even 24 hours ago he laid it all on the line for a victory.

I love his enthusiasm, but sit him. To those saying Rockets still need to win to make the playoffs; Rockets even with Harden are big underdogs. Harden being in the ASG imo is more important then him risking even further injury in a probable schedule loss.

I'd rest harden, it's a back to back game, his ankle plus his left knee might need some rest, we don't want harden is be like Derrick rose now, let the rest a game or 2 then he should be fine

If that was McGrady he'd be injured for 1 month.

    cant compare the two really

clipper playoff tickets vs an all-star game

yeah then those will be around the same price

but even if tonight wasnt the only game I most likely will be able to attend this year (unless the Rockets come to LA for the playoffs) I would be upset if Harden sat out tonight only to play in the all-star stuff over the weekend. If he sits out tonight he should sit out the entire weekend -- there are plenty of other worthy replacements and there is still enough Rockets representation at the AS weekend.

I mean if he is sitting out a game that is critical for the Rockets playoff push (well at this point every game is critical) and plays in a exhibition game that is just absurd. Rest up completely get treatment and be ready to face OKC after the break and the final stretch run

Glad he is sitting, anybody questioning his tenacity should be ashamed right now.

You never know we might win. We got the Spurs beat the 1 game Harden was hurt leading by double digits in the 4th quarter till Coach sat Lin when he was hot.

1 day off from a rolled ankle vs. 4/5 days off is a huge difference. I'd much rather him sit tonight, playing in the ASG is not a big deal.

After the Kings last night was a ++ bonus in my book. Get the big ready for his MVP All Star game and then, The Thunder Come Calling!

    Go Baby Rockets !

It's about pushing the Rockets brand. The All-Star Game is far more than an exhibition.....Harden is basically the HOST. There will be plenty of Rockets representation, but none of them will have the pull and allure of Harden. He's the man this weekend, and he has to play. I fail to see how tonight has any relation with whether he plays this weekend or not, honestly. If he needs to rest up to get healthy for this weekend, then that's what he needs to do.
