Just wondering who you guys thought was the most important sports star in Houston sports at this time. My vote goes for JJ Watt but I definitely think Harden is more important for the future of the Rockets.

Hmm, the impact Harden has on the Rockets is greater than the impact Watt has on the Texans. Of course, Watt has some other talent around him that Harden doesn't quite have yet.

Football is hotter than basketball within the state, though, so...

    Can I go with Warden?

Harden. Basketball only have 15 players on a team, where as football have much much more.

    "Manchester United...Tennessee Titans...Houston Rockets...Anaheim Ducks...Anaheim Angels"

Strange little plethora you have going on there.. but I guess it's better than the typical Heat/Yankees/Kentucky/Patriots combo

    LOL... Well,
United - I was born and spent the first half of my life in England, been a fan my whole life.
Titans - When we first moved to US, we lived in Tennesee for a brief period. I never liked football but watching McNair was exiting for me. I actually became a fan during the the 1 yard SB vs. Rams.
Houston - Got into basketball really late. I spent most of my US life in Southern Cali surrounded by Laker fans. Got into basketball around the same time as McGrady came to Houston. He was my fav. player, stuck with it. Never been to Houston.
& the Anaheim teams is because I'm from OC. Although, I've lived in the Bay for the past 2-3 years, so I've been thinking about rooting for the San Jose Earthquakes just to have a home team.

Oh, I am a Longhorn fan though. Have family who attend there.

I disagree. I think Watt is far more important for the future of the Rockets.

In terms of importance...it's without question James Harden. Not even a debate.

Your name always looks like UTA all the way to me

And it makes me rage a lil bit

On topic: JJ Watt without question. Houston has, is, and always will be a football town.

Though Harden is my personal favorite.
