They totally lit that fire on purpose. They punched holes in the wall one-by-one and then they dropped incendiary devices in there that started the fire. They knew those devices would light that wood cabin up. Then, they were like "let it burn all the way down". Dorner took refuge in the basement and shot himself before he burned. He couldn't survive that raging fire....especially since the basement roof was all wood (according to the cabin owner's son). That's my opinion obviously. Until someone proves otherwise, that is what I believe happened.
As long as they properly compensate the guy who owned the cabin, I don't see a single problem with the police torching the cabin.
one has "a moral code" if they don't kill EVERYBODY, just some people? Sorry, but I don't buy that at all. Dorner was pure trash and an animal
He's f'n dead. Good riddance to that dispicable piece of ****. Props to Law Enforcement for putting an end to him and the acts he was committing.
He was hunting cops. What did he think was going to happen? I have no problem with it, but think the leadership of LAPD needs to be gone yesterday.
Dorner's former girlfriend claims he was "twisted and paranoid". ....and then she posted him on DontDateHimGirl.com. LOL http://ballerwives.com/2013/02/12/c...-relationship-and-his-bizarre-behavior-video/

so in the end he only killed the family members involved of those who wronged him, correct? did he ever go after those who allegedly did him wrong? he killed a Riverside, a San Bernardino, and a random LAPD officer in the firefights. he is a COWARD
Can't believe I'm quoting bigtexx in agreement, but this. They made all efforts to draw him out and to get him to surrender.
He also called up the father of Monica Quan and heckled him after murdering his daughter. Nice to know that some people still support him.
That is possible but have considered that with the gunfire, smoke grenades being used by both Dorner and the police that those might've accidentally ignited the fire? The argument that the police intentionally lit the fire seems fairly thin. The audio isn't all that clear and it was while the police were taking fire from Dorner.
I see a problem with it for a few reasons. 1. This is a violation of Due Process. While there is a good case for saying the killing of Anwar Al Awlaki in a drone strike in Yemen is very murky on Constitutional grounds there is no doubt about this situation. This was done on US territory by civilian police, not military, against an enemy with no declaration of war or equivalent. The police can act in self-defense and for the safety of the public but deliberately setting a fire to kill the suspect is crossing several Constitutional grounds. 2. There is big danger to the public safety. Anyone who has lived in California knows there is a big danger regarding forest fires and deliberately setting a cabin on fire could've led to a larger disaster. 3. Another danger to public safety is all of the ammunition that Dorner had in the cabin going up which according to news reports I saw this morning that was the case. 4. It is very ham handed of the police. While Dorner was clearly a threat I can't believe there weren't other ways of dealing with that. All of that said though I am skeptical that the police deliberately set fire to the cabin. I think this was more of an accident.
What would it have taken for the police to "have acted in self defense"? Did you know that he killed a police officer yesterday, and he was shooting at the law enforcement on site?
Allegedly. You forget this is still America. I don't want to see you talking **** about Obama and his Drones now.
