This ****ing guy, put Asik on any team and he's doing exactly what he does here, rebound/defend/set awesome screens. Sorry your team doesn't appreciate good big men, I guess that's how you end up paying Andris Beidrins and Kwame Brown 10 million a year to sit on your bench.
Asik is a defensive stud and on a great deal at $8M per. But the guy is right, Asik is the beneficiary of a lot of very good looks courtesy of Harden, Lin, Parsons.
Our guards and spacing make Asik look better on offense that what he really is, but he's getting better. That being said our guards and spacing also requires Asik to be a monster on the defensive end, which he is.
Funny how you can call an undrafted player who made his way from the bottom of the bench to become a starter averaging 12pts/6ast a bust. These guys make our own LOH's look soft.
Hey man, I totally agree. But there's two sides to every coin - a lot of Rockets teammates and coaching is taking undeserved flak from people supporting Lin too! Oh well
True... though not always undeserved (in the case of McHale's substitution patterns and lack of confidence in his starting pg.)
No need for topics like this imo. It feels good to win over good competition and prove their fans wrong but rubbing it on their face is just poor taste.
What is it with Houston vs Lin's former team? they have been beating all those games. And it's not like Knicks and Warriors are horrible that the wins are automatic. Hack we've lost to Kings, Hornets, and almost to Bobcats.
