You understand they were burning the clock though, right? They had a big enough buffer to do such a strategy. If they were moving it around more, we would probably take a shot earlier in the clock and if we miss it or turn it over GSW could mount a comeback. By burning the clock it sort of meant that even if GSW hit a 3 or 2 in their next possession, they won't have enough time to make ground for a W.

We were playing to lock-up the win and not risk GSW burning us.

You are grossly exaggerating. It is only on the rare possession that our offense sticks like that. We had 32 assists on 43 FG. That is great ball movement. Our 4th Q offense was all drive & kicks for 3's or baseline cuts. There was verry little of this dribbling above the 3 point line for 20 seconds.

Thats not really Steph's game to begin with so I wouldn't be surprised. His value isn't in his passing. Its in his absurdly good shooting. Basically Nash without the passing.

I think McHale thought that Harden plays well with Lin.....Given the fact that Lin had 0 turn overs tonight it was a pretty safe move to put him back in. Beverly did great tonight no doubt about that.

Well we can't win them all. That being said, the Sac game was reffed in an inconsistent way. It's hard to get a rhythm with some of the calls I saw. But maybe I'm just being a homer.

I won't totally expect a blowout...depends on how everyone is shooting tomorrow. Defensive-wise, Rockets is not losing much with Harden being out. The rest of the players just need to get thier points and spread the 20-30 points amongst them. I would expect it to be more like the 2nd San Antonio game...much closer then expected. However, Lin or someone else will have to step up big.

Morris can be a good player. I mean he is sometimes so soft and do stupid and costly turnovers but he has to work on his game and improve his confidence and be tougher.

Tomorrow, with no Harden, and against the league's best PG, Lin will GO NUTS!! and lead the Rockets to a win! Just like he (almost) did against the Spurs. Just Watch!!!

I think this was in deference to Harden's injury. Usually in relatively close games, Harden does this. But, I don't like it either though I understand the strategy.

Lin played great. Couldn't shoot but 10 assists and no turnovers. Set up a TON of easy shots. Harden was epic, as usually, despite his shot being off.
Thanks to Lebron today as well. Portland played out of it's mind and still lost cause The King put up his normal 30 points on over 60% shooting. His box score looks like video game stats.

Maybe that's why McHale was resting Lin for most of the 4th?

It's not like Asik is a total nothing on offense. 54% field goal percentage, 10 points per game. Still, I wouldn't say no to Dwight in free agency.

Been there, done that. I don't feel sorry for them one bit, they're big boys, they'll come back stronger like we did.
