just friendly insight on my squad I have 2 top 12 rebounders with monroe and cousins. I have a top five scorer in durant. The 4th leading assist man per 48. The leading shot blocker. and a solid bench who play their roles
Lmao...i just spent 30 minutes picking my votes and explaining why and strengths and weaknesses on my phone...than i lost service and lost the whole thing...
I'll just post the main reason why i think someone wins Yung-T. I think his team is a bit more talented and Teague/Wade/Brook Lopez will be too big a problem for Qaz who has a below average inside defense with Pau/Faried. Fallen. Two even teams, I'd say Fallen has a slightly better overall defense while Jamers slightly better offense. I give the tiebreaker to Fallen due to experience. He has two champions and overall a ton of deep playoff experience, a great group of ultimate pros and no one in his starting lineup has a history of antagonizing teammates. It's a slight advantage but i have to choose someone. Sydeffect. I tried looking at the voting categories here and I think the bench is a tie but Sydeffect has advantage in the others. I think Sydeffect has one of the best teams - great offense and above average defense. rr14. I think it's an even series. rr14 has better defense, maloe has a deeper team. I assume that Hibbert is reasonably healthy (he's been playing through an injured wrist earlier this year) which to me puts rr14 slightly in front. With that assumption, offense would be close and rr14 has a serious defensive edge. Rednation. I think in the end Red's backcourt will be too hard to contain. Rubio is a very good defender (assuming health) but Mayo is not. Thad Young can't really step in and cover Manu full time, he's more of a big man. bluffkin. I think bluffkin has a much more talented starting lineup. Spooner has a better D and a great bench. The question here is -- will bluffkin's offense click well enough? And I can't know for sure with Josh Smith and Kobe there but I just think it would. Holiday-Peko is a very nice traditional core + bail out scorer in Kobe, and Holiday is used to playing next to another volume ball handler. Jmc. Neither of these teams can defend each other. Jmc has more defensive talent. But Calderon will have to defend either Lillard or Westbrook. And who covers Ryan Anderson? If it's Sanders, then there's no shot blocker inside and Lillard/Westbrook will have fun time. If it's Cousins, then Ryan Anderson will have fun time. On the other end, who covers Durant? Klay Thompson and Mike Dunleavy? And Vucevic will have a lot of issues with Cousins/Monroe. I think i'd start Nene. Izak basically has an extremely offense-focused, more talented version of the Rockets with less defense. These games will be like 150-140 every time. I'd probably take Izak's team because it matches up so well with Jmc offensively and it has more offensive talent (and neither can slow down each other much on the other end). BUT Izak is clearly over cap... so, Jmc.
I didn't know championship counts? How about deep playoff experience? Better re-check on defense.. I know he has sefolosha, lebron and tyson... But my defense is on dwight, kidd-gchrist and my entire bench.. I dont see how falln won defense.. The only liability on defense on my team is curry.. The rest are above average to excellent.
I say first to 5 votes win. (should be first to 8, but I doubt everyone will vote) Deadline Tonight 12am CST.
Why did you delete it? Haha that was a nice picture Saw my point? You drafted big names and retired soldiers(nash).. I really think my overall defense is excellent and better than fallen.. My bench is nasty as hell so...
