    god this thread is good.

according to cml, not one single "liberal" can be a "Happy Christian" in this country.

and according to the OP, since there is no link, source, or proof to the original claims, the burden is for everyone else to disprove them, and there is a mass media conspiracy painting Republicans as criminals.

    so simple minded. so feeble.

    so awesome.

Here is exactly what I wrote:

"Tried over-turning this "analysis" via Snopes or Google but unsuccessful. If anyone can, let me know and I'll erase the content..."

Any burden was shared by me. I searched "party affiliation of mass murderers" and got no result wich included this group of sickos.

Yet you seem to always skip over the post asking you to link to credible sources linking republicans/ the NRA to mass murder. Post sources to what you claim is so rampant. The liberal media blaming the republicans and NRA for gun violence (besides the NRA blocking gun legislation). TIA

FOR THE THIRD TIME: check any link with Bill Maher, Jon Stewart or Steven Colbert. Pretty sure you'll find what you are looking for.

I'm pretty sure that Liberals view "insufficient" gun registration laws as causal to gun violence. Do you deny that?

Oh, here's one: http://www.democracy-tree.com/republicans-silent-damned/ (Bet you won't find it credible enough)

    Another one (Martin Bashir): http://m.newsbusters.org/blogs/jeff...in-bashir-compares-republicans-mass-murderers

    Salon: http://www.salon.com/2012/12/14/the_nra_is_the_enabler_of_mass_murderers/

Let me know what else you need, okay?

What most of us seem to understand, that you apparently don't, is that all of the guys you mentioned are comedians. They aren't the media. Stop trying to say that the media is demonizing Republicans and the NRA. Comedians are not the main stream media even when their material is topical.

I think "crazy" has little to do with "left" or "right".

Obviously you didn't read your links first of all. Second, it's clear that the NRA's lobbying efforts against legislation to prevent access to semi automatic weapons leads to more people having easier access to semi automatic weapons. There can't be gun violence without access to guns, pretty damn causal.

    This whole thread is ridiculous.

Making the argument that Republicans are enabling mass murder through a lack of gun control IS NOT also saying that the perpetrators themselves ARE Republicans. That's like saying that Democrats are for looser drug regulation, therefore all drug users are democrats. No link that you've posted says the PERPETRATORS of the murder were Republicans. They simply made the point that Republicans/the NRA allowed it to happen.

The guys I "mentioned" are indeed comedians; they are also generally considered the #1 new source for young people. Do you deny that, too?

None of the LINKS provided as requested derive from comedians.

    1. A post from some random website.
    2. A half hearted comparison of republicans attitude towards Obama and a cannibalistic dictator. (are you even trying with this one?)
    3. Like I said, pointing out that the NRA prevents gun legislation.

Not a single one of those relates to your OP that the media tries to paint republicans as mass murderers. Not. A. Single. One. You can not produce one shred of evidence from a major news outlet to support your ridiculous claim. I am begging you, SHOW ME A LINK TO A CREDIBLE NEWS SOURCE LINKING REPUBLICANS TO MASS MURDER (and not the NRA blocking gun laws).

Here is my original post (#53) on which I was challenged to offer a supporting LINK:

This is what has been proven beyond a shadow of a doubt unless you are one of these cowardly dodgers.

Nobody talks about Republican environmentalists either. Why do you think that is? Maybe because the Republican Party is largely anti the environment? The Republican Party is largely pro guns. So when some nutcase gets his hands on guns then it's reasonable to look towards the party that supports guns being ready available and opposes legislation restricting guns. This is pretty straightfoward giddy. When someone trashes an animal research center they look at liberal groups that support animal rights, they don't look at conservative groups that don't suport animal rights because that would be STUPID just like your thread.

    Like this one?

    http://www.examiner.com/article/the-...rats-is-a-myth

Probably not a good choice. I was drawn by the Title and the Subject (Martin Bashir). I had just a few minutes at work to see what I could find. I'm just getting home now from family activities so it ain't gonna happen tonight.

The challenge was about besmirching of Republicans in general not about anything in particular.

See the posts I brought up; this is what was being asked based on what I had written.

... So you are agreeing with my surprise that apparently some of these killers had an association with the Democratic Party yet no one wanted to mention it and neither was anyone wont to expect it?

You wrote: "then it's reasonable to look towards the party that supports guns being ready available and opposes legislation restricting guns. This is pretty straightfoward giddy."

The degree and even accuracy of the association with the Democratic Party is not firmly established but neither is it overturned by that conjecture piece from the Examiner.

I dismembered the examiner piece as far as it being a knockout blow to the blog-post I cited. Like to see you deal with my comments there... Post #156.
