I've been gone for the past week, but this thread confuses me. It was posted at 7:11pm on 2/7. At 9pm on the same day, the entire thread was blown up with a point-by-point destruction of your entire list. Yet, 4 days later, the thread still exists and you still seem to believe your original point.

Perhaps you need to work on improving your Google and Snopes skills instead of continuing to post your forwarded email chain nonsense.

I understand you might need some, but there might be regulations on shipping them from Europe to the US.

A link? Didn't I refer you to (and even post a sample of) anything from Bill Maher, Jon Stewart or the other guy?

Someone else provided a link that PROVED nothing.

Decimated? HA-HA. I made a few nuanced changes in the original claims. I gotta run now but I'll look at them again later.

All that was provided by that link was counter assertions. I found more rock-sold proof in David Brook's assertion that Klebold's parents were daily readers of the NY Times....

Northside, it is obvious that anything I say is not going to change your mind. You can quote scripture that you take from random websites talking about unfulfilled prophecy all you want but it is not going to change what is going to happen.

Not sure why I am doing this but:

Your first quote your found on some atheist website ironically has theexplanations with it. Did you even bother to read it? Not that I expect you to really understand it.

As for your second quote you found on a random website:

You have to read the entire Jeremiah 42 passage to understand this. There is an "or" in the whole passage of scripture that basically says they will die or their life will be a living hell. For any Jews still living in Egypt, I am quite sure their life is a living hell.

As for your third quote you found on a random website:

If you knew anything about the Bible you would know this prophecy is unfulfilled as of yet. The lost tribes of Israel will be returned after the second coming of Jesus.

I will not keep going back and forth. Cometswins baited me into posting a religious reply with the "It's God's plan" reply. He (or she?) really has no idea how correct they are. I am not or will never be ashamed of my faith. I would gladly die before renouncing God or Jesus. As things start to happen in the near future, I am sure people like yourself will continually misinterpret what is happening. I need to take the time to post a post Rapture survival guide for the liberals on this forum because, best that I can tell, ALL of you will be really lost. Make fun of me all you want, but I am a happy Christian who sees the writing on the wall. I pray you and other wake up before it is too late.

LOL, it is not hip to be a Christian, but I have zero doubts. There are too many prophecies fulfilled exactly as they were prophesied for the Bible to be wrong or just coincidence.

I'm just saying that the prophesies you mentioned seem to fit in with Rastafarian idea that Haile Selassie was the second coming. It ties in better with the reforming of Israel as a nation etc.

Of course the fact that the world would end doesn't match your prophesies. But it does show that when signs can be read into anything and then made to fit existing prophesy it's pretty difficult to find where the accuracy really comes into play.

Franchise, first of all I have always had a lot of respect for you even though my political beliefs are 180 degrees from yours. That being said, I don't really understand the bolded part of your quote. Never heard anything even remotely concerning that. My beliefs believe that Jesus will save the church in an event known as the Rapture. Then, he will return to Earth some seven years later to rule as King. You are somewhat unique from most Liberals I have debated(not that I know many), in that you were raised in the church if I recall correctly. I do not know what denomination you are but I do pray that you have trusted Jesus as your Lord and Savior because HE is the ONLY one that can save you or anyone for that matter. Peace!!:)

Franchis if you learned anything in church, you should know the world will never end. After the second coming of Jesus there will be a 1000 years of peace, the na new heaven and earthh will be created, but have no doubt the world will never end. I do however we are in the "end times" meaning we are close to the "end of the age".

Your right, the world ending was not the proper choice of words, but I think the meaning was understandable.

I can't believe you never heard about the contention that Haile Selassie was the second coming. He was from the same part of the world as various related biblical figures etc. It falls in that he was around at the time of Hitler, and WWII, the formation of Israel etc.

This is also just a little of it.

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/religion/religions/rastafari/beliefs/haileselassie.shtml

There really is a ton of it. Of course Selassi himself denied he was God, but it doesn't change the Rasta belief of him as the messiah.

Yes, I was raised in the church. I went to many denominations. My father was Catholic. My mother moved around in denominations and was eventually a pastor in the Disciples of Christ. That's the same denomination as the Christian in TCU (the university). They loved each other, and would occasionally go to the services of the other one's denomination, but they never both were part of the same denomination.

I thought I remembered you were raised in the church. Of course belonging to a church or going to church will not save anyone. Only the acceptance of Jesus and "being washed in the blood of the lamb" can do that.

    Ephesians 2:8-9
8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast.
