Interesting on the no comment about the PED's.

My first reaction was that he is so proud about speaking the truth about everything, that he cannot bear to tell a lie answering that question. Like he doesn't want to get caught in a lie with that question because then he would lose credibility with all of the rest of his "truth".

I hope this doesn't turn into a floodgate for a league wide problem.

Either that or he would have to admit that he has no clue because he's not an NBA player yet.

That's true. So if my thought was correct, the only NBA players that he has been exposed to have been our Rockets in the preseason/early reg season so he would most likely be thinking about one of his teammates.

Let's just go with your theory.

Foster isnt an elitist, quite the contrary. Dude is a different breed than most professional athletes. He doesnt let the fame define him, he is true to himself above all. More people should be that way. Do you see Foster draped in bling? Do you see him on Cribs with his 15 cars? Exactly.

Most people like that are extremely introverted. Arian is just one of em who doesnt mind telling you how he sees things. He knows life is about more than football. I wouldnt want to be defined by my job alone. I like to think that Im more than a bar/restaurant manager. Is there more to you than your job, or does it consume your entire life? If it does, you might want to start looking for another job & live a little....

Tell me something about Kevin McHale
    ...He's a legend

Lol that's it? Nothing too personal huh? Then again, he hasn't been around the team much

Royce White doesn't know McHale any better than I do, what was he supposed to say?

How much did his agent pay to get him air time?

Really, why does ESPN give a hot damn about Royce White? The dude has not done a thing on the court.

I'd like him to do well, but I can't, as a fan, "forgive" him for the way he played this out. I'm a huge proponent of the existence of mental illness, but there is another aspect of communication of one's problems and it involves the notion of decency and respect.

Royce did not respect the Rockets enough to have face-to-face meetings and chose to air his grievances out on Twitter. In any other profession, this is where ties are cut.

He tries to portray himself as this innocent, free-spirited personality, but it's a scam to cover up the illness that he uses for his own benefit.

I have no proof, but it's my opinion that Royce truly isn't passionate about basketball anymore.

I think he's very creative and would rather use his NBA money for personal projects.

Why does he deserve any more coverage than guys like Terrance Jones or Greg Smith? Both are young and have battled for playing time this year, attend practices and support the Rox. Why does Royce get a pass?

That's my rant for the evening haha. I don't hate Royce, but he's on "Stromile Swift" list. Meaning, you didn't want to be here and the money that was invested with you didn't meet the output.

    Alright, #BeWell;)

White sounds like a very smart guy, at least didn't waste his time in college.

I agree with Chuck Klosterman, Royce White sounds like a brilliant 9th grader who just read a book on Marx and Gandhi and can't stop talking about it. No matter what you think of how "smart" he is, it's obvious that his actions have been foolish and that he is incredibly naive.

I'm with you. I'm not at all hopeful this all turns out well in the end. He hasn't learned a thing about accountability from what I see. If anything, what he's learned is that cultivating a 'personality' gets you air time which seems more important to him than earning playing time.

You are right about him, but still people are intrigued. We all want to see if he can live up to the "would have been the 5th pick if not for his anxiety" talk.

You are obviously not a 16 year old girl. Maybe if you were you would understand his taste in music. Also, you are probably not a hipster either.
