If anyone with DirectTV had participated in the earlier e-mail requests for Comcast, I'm certain they would have received an e-mail back from Direct, confirming that Comcast was now available. I did the same with Dish and they said they'd send an e-mail as soon as it becomes available. They want to you to stay with their service, so they'll let you know I woud think.
So... apparently Comcast ran a commercial saying 'DirecTV has Comcast Sportsnet Houston' in order to get everyone to call DirecTV and ask if they had Comcast. Holy **** those are some sleazy-ass dirtbag people over there at Comcast.
Wow!!! I haven't seen that yet. Yes, CSN, seems to be a very sleazy outfit if this is true. I wish the Rockets never agreed to join with those assholes. I have gotten to the point where I could care less about the Astro's with the American league move but I really miss watching my Rockets on TV without having to stream it from my computer.
When I worked for Time Warner Cable and they announced the NFL Network, the press had known about the details the entire day before TWC officially announced it at around 5:00PM and had a press release. I can almost guarantee you that if this is true, you're going to hear about it in the press before you actually hear anything from DirecTV.
I'd love to see the commercial too. If true, that is outright embarrassing for Comcast. It wouldn't shock me though.
The commercials don't annoy me as much as some of their print and digital ads do. An ex boyfriend of mine appears in a lot of them & I'm really tired of seeing his mug everywhere...
Ruh roh! On a serious note, CSN is pathetic. Welcome to the television of today's world. All money, customers come second. How's that rockets job working out for ya?
Ugh, the new commercial has Kevin McHale, Jeremy Lin, Chandler Parsons, Craig Biggio, Roger Clemens and some guy from the Dynamo demanding CSN Houston. Sickening.
