Way overdue, but this frees up space in the summer and hopefully BR can get a good back to replace him. Hopefully that will give him options so he can rotate Agger and Turtle. I have no idea what Coates' future will be. He should be loaned out. He seemed to have regressed and he needs some pitch time.

Bale with two goals today. He played as a Striker in 4-4-2 also. If the Hot Spurs don't make the Champion's League this year, then Bale may take his skills else where next year. People have compared his skill set to a Welsh Cristiano Ronaldo.

In other news, City is serious about trying to pry Neymar away from Santos.

City desperately need some attackers. If they want to compete again next season it will take a Neymar, Cavani, or Falcao.

^^ Neymar is coming to Barca and Falcao probably to Madrid so that leaves Cavani.

    He's a striker, they won't be replaced.

I still don't think the title race is over. Remember last year United weren't they up by 8 points with 6 games to go? People said that was over and United choked.

I think City will have one more shot to get back into the race at least.

Their current 4-3-3 uses Iniesta-----Messi-----Pedro up front.

    Neymar can easily replace Pedro.

    Or you have
    Pedro/Villa---Messi---Sanchez
    Iniesta---------Busquets------------Xavi

In both cases, there's easily place for Neymar to replace Pedro, Villa or Sanchez.

Neymar should come over to Liverpool if he knows what's good for him. Or he can join Barca and Pedro gets sent to LFC. It only makes sense.

I feel like Neymar is best suited as a LW.

Yerp, LW is where I see him as well, but if you watch the games he's everywhere so it doesn't matter that much.

You're dreaming...12 points up. Deeper Red Devil squad. Only question now for Man U is do they have a chance at the treble. Both Real and Man U are playing well right now. It should be a great home and home.

Man U gets Real Madrid without Casillas. Lucky break.

Don't know why anyone would suggest 12 points is too much to catch. Every team usually has a slump during the season, ManU haven't gone through one, statistically speaking they might. Having said that ManCity are not quite as good as they were last season. Lescott has been poor and their main guy Kompany hasn't been up to his standard. Add that to poor showings by the strikers, Tevez and Aguero . You've got a team unlikely to step up their game. I wouldn't put money on these guys.

BTW I don't think neymar's game will translate well in the EPL. He's likely to go to the less physical Spanish league. He's not quite as good as the hype...I wouldn't pay the money he and his team will demand.

This is how I see it playing out: As Xavi gets older he starts to get less playing time due to injuries and whatnot, Fabregas takes Xavi's spot as the creator and Iniesta drops back a bit to take Fabrega's spot opening up the LW for Neymar. Mystery solved.

Sadly I concur. Xavi IS Barca to me and sometime the best player on the field but those "sometimes" are getting long and long in between. He's not going to get any younger and my guess is he has one more great World Cup left in him.

He's my favorate player and has been for 6 years. He and Puyol are the only players left to me that are no nonsese. Warriors that went through stuggles of the non cup years. I don't want to think about those two leaving even if it mean having Neymar. :(
