I really like watching him play. My game and his game are eerily similar when he first came into Indiana. And watching him develop his offensive game gives me a lot of hope.
I'm hoping to play college ball. I was supposed to play d3. But I'm trying for d2 or d1. Just gotta put in the work.
Just saw the highlights on SC, this dude is just... Ridiculous. I'm still trying to wrap my head around his obsurd 63.6% FG's. That's even more obnoxious than video game numbers. He's gonna go top 5, I'm callin' it now.
Alex Bozich @insidethehall Victor Oladipo on Dan Dakich show says he'll graduate on May 4 (his birthday) with a degree in sports communication and broadcasting. #iubb As pacertom stated. Yep he's coming out and will likely be a lottery pick IMO.
He just had a very clutch tip-in with just over 40 seconds left to put Indiana (#1) up 68-67 over Michigan State (#4). 39.5 seconds left...
Impressive showing... Oladipo made all the clutch plays in the final minute -- the tip-in, tough defense on a Michigan State drive, a breakaway slam and two clutch free throws to seal it. He finished with 19 points, 9 boards, 5 steals and a block.
Is there a sane person here who doesn't think Oladipo is an obvious top 10 pick? Didn't think so. Oladipo is a complete player on both ends of the court and has a chance to be an impact NBA player. mikol13, the Illinois loss has indeed changed IU.
Man, what I find amazing is that he doesn't even try to get the ball in his hands and yet it comes to him. Like everytime he gets the ball on top of the key, or a place where he can score, he gives it to the other players and then makes a play out of no where like the tip in.
Huge win for IU, I'm stoked!! As clutch pointed out, VO made game winning plays. The scary thing is, Oladipo continues to get better and better. Sky is the limit. A_3PO, you are so right. The Illinois game taught IU how to close out games. IU has become tougher and smarter down the stretch. These are exciting times for IU basketball.
Morey needs to get this kid, will have to trade up though. I'm going on record to say the Bobcats will draft him and it will turn them around completely.
