Danny Granger NOT on Rockets radar

Well, thats good news. He never really made sense to me in the first place...

 

One way to make two news concerning rockets out of blue.

 

Smoke screen. Morey using reverse psychology.

 

Yeah getting Granger doesn't make sense since we're getting LerBon in a couple of years.

 

Granger contract ends 2014.

 

I don't get the Granger love recently. Glad to read that tid bit.

 

What's Granger averaging this season?

Well... Parsons is hotter.

 

If Morey was (or is) contacting Indiana, I bet it was (or is) for Lance Stephenson or Gerald Green... The Rockets desperately need an upgrade at SG coming off the bench. And with David West being a free agent after this season they may would want one of our power forwards for Stephenson.

Stephenson helps us on both sides of the ball in the backcourt. And even Gerald Green would be a better backup for Harden than Douglas and he may be easier to get because he hasn't been able to get off the bench lately.

 

I guess that depends on who you ask but Parsons does play better perimeter defense than Granger.

 

Indiana would be dumb to trade Granger before the deadline. He's an unknown commodity right now following the injury. They won't get reasonable value back. They'll have to wait until draft night.

 

I'm getting the feeling no one's on the Rockets radar right now, except for the untouchables(Love, Aldridge, Dwight Howard, etc.)

I Doubt Morey will do something. I think he will wait until free agency and make move this off season. So don't get your hopes up on February 21.

I agree with some people that say Morey won't do much this deadline maybe just a few small trades

Granger is one of my favorite players in the NBA. He would be great on our team, but I don't see how he would fit in, and in my eyes, Parsons is UNTOUCHABLE. For his contact and output, you don't give him up. Lock him up for years.

I guess he's expendable though with Paul George becoming a monster.

Everyone is assuming the Rockets would trade Parsons but he plays multiple positions and Morey is supposedly notorious for making lowball offers, eg Budinger for another team's star player.
