It's NOT a conspiracy theory - it's human nature. It's true they both get winded but they are also busting their @sses playing defense. I was at the game against Portland and I noticed Lin was winded. Still he doesn't need to sit for 10 minutes to get his breath back. Did you see the Dallas home game where he and Asik sat the whole 4th Q and played 18 and 20 minutes? What is your explanation for that? Too winded?? Really??

Why the focus only on Lin? Rotations are only one aspect of coaching.

Coach McHale has an entire roster of 13 players to manage, to find a way to win the game at hand, to see what's working, try new sets, get everyone some PT if possible, etc. The team seems to be doing well, we had a run, a slump, and the guys are now really building chemistry. In my mind, the team's success stems from Kevin McHale.

The Rockets are not failing, and you ought'n to fix what ain't broke.

Well specifically that game (I'm assuming you are talking about the first Dallas game and not the second one where Lin got over 30 mins) Lin was playing like crap and it was the 19th game of the year. The team was still trying out different rotations and seeing what different players could do. I know Lin fans think that's awful, but I'm sure they'll get over it.

Bobby, Bobby, Bobby. Did you even look up the stats for that game? It was Dec. 8 McHale's first game back. Both Lin and Asik were playing excellent and both played less than half the game and not at all in the 4th Q. If u or anyone don't believe me look it up. We lost that game at home and McHale was responsible for it.

actually I ok with what Mchale is doing right now. It's just the post game press conferences. Come on Mchale give Lin Boy some love when he deserves it.

Again, that was at the beginning of the year when they were trying out new rotations and players, why do you assume that McHale is out to get Lin based on one game early in the year? It's pretty ridiculous. Hasn't McHale earned the benefit of the doubt since the team is doing pretty well with him as coach despite being in year one of a rebuild? I know there are a lot of Lin fans that don't care about how the team does, but most Rockets fans should be satisfied with that.

He didn't because it kills him that he was wrong by cutting him in the first place. Too much pride to admit he made a mistake. Did you notice he never takes any responsibility for a loss? It's always the players. But don't get me started please....

As am I, never would I have thought that the Rockets could rebuild and potentially be in the playoffs in the very same season.

Hate to rain on your irrational parade, but doesn't morey make the personnel decisions while mchale does the coaching?

I was a doubter initially, and to my surprise he's turned out to be arguably the best SG in the NBA already. Crazy.

So McHale has no input? I stand by my theory that McHale will play Lin the minimum time possible to get a win. I also think the Rockets will get burned at times because of this approach. I hate to think this about him but I can't think of anything else to explain his bizarre coaching style.

It would be foolish to think that McHale has input considering Adelman didn't. Why would McHale have more influence than the last coach?

I am honestly rooting for McHale. The Rockets were extremely lucky to land Harden. We just need to bring in some help. I would love to see Houston and McHale win a Championship and rub it in the Timberwolves face.

    33.2 mpg - cp3
    32.8 mpg - Tony Parker
    32.8 mpg - Jeremy Lin

Looks like the coaches of other fairly successful teams have something in common with mchale. Then again I have heard theories that del Negro hates chris Paul and pop despises Parker so you may be on to something.

What misleading averages those are! They don't take into account at all the blowouts that the Spurs and Clippers have had where Parker and CP3 sit out the 4th Q. Anyhow I'm not going to argue this point any more just try to watch the games with an open mind(probably impossible for "doubters").

So you think Lin should play more than 32 minutes a game? Why? Who are these "doubters" you are talking about? What does that even mean?

Just did a quick look and found 2 games for Paul and 7 for Parker in which they played less than 28 minutes in a win this season. The low for either was 22 and it only happened once. You are just making stuff up man.
