Just heard that this is just the beginning of a string of storms that will be hitting the US in the coming weeks due to the jet stream. They even said Texas is going to get very cold soon, and Dallas along with other parts of Texas getting snow. The east coast better stock up when the snow starts to melt on Monday. It's not over.
O trust me... Snow might look beautiful for a day but once people drive over it and plow it it can look nasty.
if anyone is ever planning to move up in New England contemplate replacing your current vehicle with an AWD or 4x4 vehicle.

I live in Manitoba and 2 feet of snow is still a lot. But people clearing out stores for food and water seems a little much in my opinion. I guess its that in those cities, people havent expereinced snowstorms as much?
It was the fifth largest snowfall in Boston history. Third largest in a lot of other cities. We get snow plenty, but usually not 25-40" at once. Most people can't leave their homes right now for a couple days because there's no snow plows in the smaller towns that can handle it. Boston is doing fine though.
Well, 30 min from Boston here. Plows came and shoved most of the driveway. Still had to dig a car out of the leftover snow though and that killed whatever energy I had to build a snowman. For what it's worth, I made a snow angel on the ground. Co workers are talking about working from home again tomorrow thinking the company's parking lot might not even be cleared out.
