    Disappointed Asik/Lin would have to go to make room for a max and a semi all-star. Two near max, young, semi all-stars or low risk/high reward prospects in free agency is the way to go, imo. I hope no trades involve Lin/Harden/Parsons/Asik/TJ/DMo, just yet. It's still too early

    The Rockets don't have the full max in cap space to go after another foundational player. Another way of looking at dealing either Lin/Asik is to upgrade their trade assets they can package in order to acquire their 2nd star player.

    Players with 1yr remaining on their contracts like Granger, AK47, and before Pau got hurt again would upgrade the PF position for a playoff push but would also allow the Rockets to keep their cap flexibility.

    That said, AK47 might be the one to eye if Minny are willing to give him up for something like Morris and Aldrich.
