more than slightly improved, 3pt %age last 8 games is drastically above the season average. I wouldnt say wildly inconsistent. He's stringing together 4-5 good games and has a dud or 2, that's just the way it works. Wildly inconsistent is morelike one great game, 2 bad games, 2 good games, 3 atrocious games.

Just like baseball, a guy who hits .333 isn't going to go 1/3 every night. He'll have weekor a month where he goes and hits 390 and others where's he's around 250, that's just the way it is.

Not every post-July 2012er joined CF because of Lin... I can't be the only one who isn't an LOF, but I get where you're coming from. I suppose it's a little like George Clooney says in Up In The Air.

Ryan Bingham: [on getting through airport security] Never get behind old people. Their bodies are littered with hidden metal and they never seem to appreciate how little time they have left. Bingo, Asians. They pack light, travel efficiently, and they have a thing for slip on shoes. Gotta love 'em.
    Natalie Keener: That's racist.
Ryan Bingham: I'm like my mother, I stereotype. It's faster.

It seems to me that beyond than the matchups from game to game, he can be extremely inconsistent within a single game. It's one thing to have slump, but to either catch fire or go cold in the way that he does, is disappointing.

I actually like the Harden-Lin pairing, especially they way they've been playing lately.

Probably should only pidgeonhole the July-October 2013ers. It was the Harden trade, not the Lin acquisition, that made me start watching every Rockets game this season.

Anyway, Lin and Harden's dual-threat elite drive-and-kick game is really what drives our offense. Our monster 3 game would not be possible without it. Our offense is already amazing. The fact that Lin (and Asik and our role players) obviously has so much room to improve offensively in spite of how well our offense already works should make us salivate over our team's potential.

Me too, and that's exactly how I feel also about Lin. He and Harden are going to be exciting to watch in the coming years!

Don't worry about larsv8. He's just a tool and not a real Rockets fan. Only the 99ers should brag about their join date. larsv8 is a fairly recent member of clutuch yet he brags about his join date. A classic d-bag thing to do.

I'm sure the vast majority of Rockets fans regardless of when they became a fan thinks Lin is at worst an avg starting PG to slightly below very good. Most would probably rate him decent or good with a lot of upside.

Based on what PER? He has been average on this season to be frank. Not up to par offensively, above average defensively. Overall, average. Will have a great game one day then a stinker.
