I have never seen anyone with complete dominance in all aspects of the game until now. Even the all time greats of the past dont have what we are witnessing. He seriously has no flaws in his game and does everything great (except free throws which i am certain he will improve). He is the perfect basketball player since MJ.

Doesn't use screens off the ball that great and he's a mediocre free throw shooter. But other than that ... yeah.

I was hesitant at the start of the season, but now I'm pretty convinced that he'll go down as a Top 5 all time player, with the potential to go Top 2 and the VERY SLIM CHANCE to overtake Jordan depending on how the rest of his career goes, but once again very unlikely.

In terms of all around basketball players, Lebron, Magic, and Oscar Robertson are the only ones who come to mind, and Lebron could very well go down as better than both.

Does anyone else get bored with him being so great? When I see him play, or his numbers especially, the thing that interests me is how close Durant is to him. Extremely impressive, even without the LeBron level defense.

    Nah...I don't get bored.

I find it a privilege to watch one of the greatest to ever play in his prime. I wasn't personally able to do that with Jordan. Wish I could have.

What he's doing now is incredible. It's hard to imagine that he might get better.

He pretty much is the ideal body type for the game of basketball too. Someone that wide while being that agile is sure to be least likely to break down over time. The lanky freak-of-nature guys like Garnett and Durant might be more impressive in the short-term, but their longevity will always be an issue.

LeBron is shooting ULTRA EFFICIENT lately. His shooting% via ESPN over his last 3 games was something like 71%. Remember this guy isnt a PF or C either. LeBron puts up dunks and lay ups, but he also shoots mid range and 3pt shots.

I'm still not a fan of LerBon, but don't hate him anymore. He will go down as the top 5 and most complete player of all times. ALL TIMES. After Hakeem, of course. He might surpass Jordan.

So it'll go like this Hakeem >> LerBon > Jordan > Lin

He's like a cross between Barkley, Magic, and Jordan. The way he's improved his shooting has been very impressive. It's damn rare to see a guy with that combination of size, speed, athleticism, and skill level.

He can do whatever he wants on the court. It's pretty ridiculous. Lots of starting PGs would be thrilled with his assist numbers, lots of starting PFs would be happy with his rebounding numbers, oh and by the way he also scores 27 points on .630 TS%.

    Insane.

His defense is top 5 in the league, if not best, as well. The time he shut Rose down a few years back convinced me. The amazing thing was he didn't do it by using his body against Rose. He stayed step by step with him.

Lebron is, yes, top 5 all time. Kobe and MJ hold an edge on him for scoring in the clutch, but he dominates in all other aspects of the game.

As a player, he might be the g.o.a.t. right now - regardless of # of rings.
