At this point I would have to go with Kobe when he goes into his assist mode. He is having perhaps his best season ever, and is quite capable of putting up 10+ assists every night. However when Kobe plays in hero mode, Harden is superior. Tough call now. Probably not next season.
good passer? 3.9 apg ..... maybe above average rebounder... check great scorer.... 17.6 ... good but not great or darn good
I think in a few years there will be a Harden/George debate similar to the debate that was TMac/Kobe. Harden has already proven his superstardom to most, and look at what George is doing on a Pacers team without Granger where Roy Hibbert is probably the second best player. Not bad for 4th and 3rd year player still in their early twenties.
No doubt... but George still has to score in volumes to get to Kobe and Durant level It's not something anyone can do but I am optimistic
Right now he is finding out a new set of skillz...which is being the man...and as he gets more proficient...watch out...he has to be one of the most efficient guards in the game...and his ability to just relentlessly attack the rim is such a joy to watch...
Wow this thread got derailed a bit by the Paul George stuff...So lemme pile on. George is a good, young, promising player, but for a guy as long and athletic as he is, he takes WAY too many long jumpers. He also doesn't shoot a very good % (something around 42?!). These are definitely things he can improve on but I personally feel like he is extremely overrated on this forum.
he is overrated on the MVP list also Harden is not even on it ... http://www.nba.com/mvp-ladder/2012-13/index.html
For the most part. The Pacers are one of the true 'legit' teams though. Miami certainly doesn't want to play them in the playoffs. I wonder how they will implement Granger though.
