Royce has actually been perfect for us this season. He only has about 30 less minutes played than DMO and TJones, he hasn't been costing us money since he stopped showing up and it has been a hell of a story off the court. ESPN has talked about us constantly this season between him, Harden and Lin. If he wasn't sitting out and asking for protocol, he would just be another rookie, instead we have a rookie who is more well known than the frontrunner for ROY in Lillard.

Except that he has not been working out, has not learned our offensive or defensive sets, has not gotten the experience playing in the NBDL and has not been around the NBA players and staff. Other than that, I agree with, except that whole #####protocol#### BS

 

I agree with you there, let's just see what happens between now and the deadline though. If he stays then I worry about him not being around the team and getting the feel for NBA life and travel but if he is traded then it's a net zero, and we got some extra press.
