Everything is comparable. Comparable isn't equatable. I'm equating Chris Paul to Jeremy Lin. I even said so explicitly. I just put it up there so they could be...uh COMPARED.
STATS only can tell you so much, otherwise Morey will out of job. Play PG as 1st back court option with a defensive oriented SG or Play PG as 2nd back court option with a ball dominated super-star SG make a whole a lot difference. Lin's situation here is more comparable to Mario Chalmers @Heat and Dreke fisher @lakers than to Greivis Vasquez and Damiem Lillard. If Harden is really a super-star, maybe rocket should trade lin for a big man. If Lin is really becoming a star, maybe harden should play 6th man. Has there ever been a duo-star back court live happily together?
LOHs are ones who pop up in game threads when he has a bad game and say crap like "oh is Jeremy getting lit up by the [insert opposing pg name]" and are not to be seen when he has a good game. Also when people call him a terrible basketball player. I've seen this and more on this board. I don't have anyone on my ignore list so the GARM gets extra icky sometimes.
They say that for everyone. Patterson, Asik, Harden, Lin, Parsons. Have you seen how bi-polar game threads are? I see a ton more hate coming from LOFs towards other players (Harden and our back-up PGs especially) than actual "LOHs".
The "Rolls Royce" backcourt of the 70's. http://blog.chron.com/ultimaterocke...ays-meshing-lin-harden-just-a-matter-of-time/
There are definitely way more comments regarding opposing PG burning Lin than there are for the other positions.
Not sure if anyone heard Lin on 790 yesterday with Charlie & Lance but any questions about his play he kept spinning back to the "team" http://tinyurl.com/b9qusap
Yep. I'd say that was a duo-star back court that lived happily together. I like that Clyde thinks Lin-Harden can be as successful. Nice Rockets piece in the NY Times Off The Dribble blog today:

You are delusional. You live in an alternate universe; the opposite of reality. You contribute to the Lin drama and divisiveness. You go into Lin threads with this weird complex, trying to put certain fans in their place. You don't accomplish anything but I'm sure it makes you feel better. Carry on.
His best role on this team would be a sixth man. Although he's better than Beverly and Douglas, he could come and thrive by running the offense rather than starting and having to play off-ball while Harden does his thing. Our team would be better and we could exploit other teams' depth.
Good interview. Thanks for the link! sounds like he really struggled earlier in the season with not being able to do what he wanted physically, limited by the injury.
LOFs in every thread: LOF1: "Inexcusable! coach blah blah blah" LOF2: "Good post LOF1, also, screens, Harden hero ball" LOF3: "Nice post! repped " LOF4: "Don't forger, rabble rabble Linsanity, blah blah Tyson Chandler blah blah Asik butterfingers, blah Lin faultless blah blah Irving is overrated" LOF5: "Thank you for post! I didn't know!"
