Wow, didn't know they were this hot, catching up to the Clippers and #1 in fast break points and points in the paint! How are they doing it?? They got my respect.
Maybe we should think about making a "Random NBA Thought" thread. Miss the days when most threads had data based points with some insight or entertainment value at the least... Now most these days this is what Clutchfans has come down to. *sigh* "F**k it!"
Haven't they been sitting pretty in statistical based power rankings like Hollinger and others all season long? Shouldn't be that surprising. They're a good team.
Very impressive team but I am left feeling ho-hum. They are one of those great all-around teams with no real star that will get bounced in the first round of the playoffs.
Yeah they lack a go to guy on offense. That's their only real weakness. Still, they are big, athletic, and well-coached, so you never know. If they had gotten Harden instead of our Rockets they would be unstoppable.
Poor 3-point shooting and FT shooting could bite them in the playoffs. But if Ty Lawson is aggressive, they will be a tough train to stop.
Go read Camus or Kierkegard if you want depth with every paragraph. No need to dump on him. You could have posted reasons you think the Nuggets are having success or, well, anything but what you posted, which also reflects on what this forum has come to.
They have a bunch of good but not great, have a real home court advantage, the perfect coach for their roster and can flat out run teams off the court. Morey has thought very highly of them, said they were a 50 win calibur team. I think they can rise of surprise a team in the playoffs but they are not real title contenders.
