with Doc an Cod both implying something here...smooth sailing form here on out...

J smooth.... Josh Smith is where I think this is going. It says team friendly contract. What is more friendly then a 1 year expiring?

Can anyone help me tie this to Docs post?

Smith is the youngest player to block 1000 shots

    Josh Smith is from Atlanta.

I agree that Smith fits in well contract-wise and from a playing standpoint, but the real question is what is Ferry asking for? If he's asking for vital assets for a half a season rental, i doubt Morey does that.

    Ok this interesting:
    10,000 pts , 5,000 rebs , 2,000 ast , 1000 blocks

"Smith has career totals of 9,044 points (needs 956), 4,768 rebounds (needs 232), 1,849 assists (needs 151) and 1,304 blocks. If he puts up his career averages this season, he will reach the points milestone in 53 games, the rebounds in 29 games and the assists in 50 games. "

    Thats a lot of thousands

    Then this:

More speculation as of yesterday afternoon that Josh wants to come here and that it is a possibility.

Friends with Howard...trading for him and giving up one or more of our PFs actually gives us more cap flexibility to go after howard as well.

I can't help but think that none of those heads are Clutch (aka Dave). The head shape on the left, though completely out of focus, resembles a white Garnett... I dunno. However, none of the heads are the same, meaning Doc is just f***ing my brain.

your right...what was his connection to houston? I heard calvin murphy talking about it when was hosting a show on 97.5. He worked with Josh Smith every summer....is it just Josh lives here in the off season?

Garnet, Dwight, Asik... We'll be loaded in frontcourt.

Jumping on this thought. "EGO: Equal Goals in Occupations" maybe means we are looking to make a trade and are in discussions for one of these four players for our four position but who knows.

In chat, Codman heavily implied the player was drafted mid first round in 2008ish. FWIW.

Maybe they're all supposed to be PFs. The bottom one being Gortat might be wrong. The nose isn't big enough, haha. The head shape is similar but could be someone else... maybe I'm completely on the wrong track though. And nothing I think of matches the storyline...

At least I've found something that occupied my time for the week.

^^^On that note, I had a dream about this last night, had an epiphany in my dream and thought I had it figured out... then I woke up. My dream didn't make any sense after that, lol

Could it be Ryan Anderson who was drafted 21st overall in 2008. Anderson rocks the beard
    [IMG]

or if you look at it in the 2008ish light and look at the 2009 draft - Earl Clark was drafted 14 that year. We were scouting the Lakers a week or so ago
and FWIW Earl clark also rocks a bit of a beard, but not an overpowering one

    Codman said:
    - Mid first round
    - Been in the league around 5 years (thus 2008ish draft)
    - Lesser known or not well-known at all
    - Under utilized on a bad team

I thought it was Speights, but since he's gone to the Cavs...
