Nah, don't think this line is too trolly. Casual bettors who don't follow either team closely wouldn't really think about the early season history, but they would definitely have the two recent super-blowouts plus the close Miami game stuck in their heads. According to covers.com (which isn't the best with percentages, but it's something), 61% are on Houston and 39% on Portland. Not sure which way I am leaning on this one... may just lay off and enjoy the game lol.

 

Whoa settle down buddy. First of all, it's clear they aren't doing an all-day golf outing at an actual golf course... prob just a driving range session judging by their outfits and the dumbass mascot lol. Secondly, you really think he's gonna find the magic touch in an off-day shootaround that he couldn't find in the 102891512852 other shootarounds that they have? Lastly, keeping with the golf theme... sometimes less is more. I don't know if you play golf, but sometimes when your swing is off, the best thing to do is take some time off to let the bad habits die. Inevitably, the first round back is always better with less cluttered swing thoughts.

 

Quite possibly the most important game to date.

 

Blazers are indeed clutch in a close game, so we better make sure we blow them out early!

 

If we win, we will have 4 games above .500 (28-24), Portland will drop to .500 (25-25).
If we lose, Portland will own the tiebreaker, they will also take the 8th spot.
This is how important this game is.

Gonna be a great game. We have to keep Hickson off of the offensive boards and contain Lillard/Aldridge and we should be good. Batum is a hell of a player too. I really enjoy watching this guy.

 

I predict an easy win as well. We win by 8 or more.

I read Batum has been nursing a wrist injury for a while now. Hopefully he wont get magically cured during the game.

Aldridge to houston would be a big game changer. The dude can rebound and automatic from 15 feet. And he can actually catch an alley hoop.

 

coach... let the kids play. let 'em play. don't yank them at the first sign of mistake. don't play musical chair with your inconsistent rotation. take a time out and regroup if you need to, but don't be so quick to yank them. let them play free. and most of all, play, to, win. don't play NOT to lose, which is what i've seen too many times in close games. Play to win.

 

8th seed is pretty much our girlfriend now.

Rockets better play like a rabid boyfriend to the rescue.
