see this is why D'antoni is a TERRIBLE coach - way to throw Dwight majorly under the bus there -- so if he did that sucks -- the lakers won both of those games, but now he just created an even bigger rift between Dwight and his teammates.
Exactly. This guy has a habit of throwing his players under the bus in the media. When your players are calling out each other, you as the coach better do some damage control. Instead, he is putting more fuel on the fire. BTW, LOL @ Kobe with 0 assist, and MWP scoring 5 points with 13 shots.
In other news, Dwight now finds Houston to be even more attractive... At least Houston hasn't been mean to him yet.
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p>Dwight said he had no setbacks tonight with shoulder. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p>Kobe: “I think L.A.’s kind of seeing how much we miss Pau...maybe now they’ll start appreciating him a little bit more.” <a href="https://twitter.com/search/%23Lakers">#Lakers</a></p>— Mike Bresnahan (@Mike_Bresnahan) <a href="https://twitter.com/Mike_Bresnahan/status/299738175662866432">February 8, 2013</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Please watch the game instead of looking at the box score. Kobe can't simultaneously make the shots for his teammates as he passes it to them also. He could've easily had 5+ assists if his teammates hit their open shots.
A super-detailed explanation of the Lakers draft pick(s) status Cliffs: they're screwed and won't have a first rounder.
These two comments by D'Antoni and Kobe are irresponsible. I'm beginning to think they both have a grudge against Dwight and want to embarrass him. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p>During postgame interview, Mike D'Antoni said Dwight Howard has been cleared to play for awhile, but he chose not to play until tonight.</p>— Alex Kennedy (@AlexKennedyNBA) <a href="https://twitter.com/AlexKennedyNBA/status/299724900984291328" data-datetime="2013-02-07T21:42:39+00:00">February 7, 2013</a></blockquote> <script src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> <blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p>Kobe: “I think L.A.’s kind of seeing how much we miss Pau...maybe now they’ll start appreciating him a little bit more.” <a href="https://twitter.com/search/%23Lakers">#Lakers</a></p>— Mike Bresnahan (@Mike_Bresnahan) <a href="https://twitter.com/Mike_Bresnahan/status/299738175662866432">February 8, 2013</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
wow nothing but petty passive aggressive whining compare that to when Miami big 3 came together and struggled at first, there was no dissension in the ranks perhaps the well in LA is poisoned so much that Dwight won't resign, but that's a lot of money to walk away from
