I think the key is to have low expectations for this season; that way the show will still seem good if/when the new writers mess it up! Happy October 19th
You gotta give it to NBC for still putting them on Thursday, I don't know if that's a gamble or a trap; or if they just screwed up their fall pilots so badly that anything with a history is more valuable.
Community has a decent shot at being picked up for another season. I would normally say no but all of NBC's new comedies have done HORRIBLY, both in ratings and critical acclaim. Comparatively, Community doesn't look bad at all.
Yaaaaaaaa! Community is so good. So much better than all those other crap comedies on these days. I guess Pierce is only going to be on some eps but it should still be great.:grin::grin:
Finally October 19th!!! For those who don't watch Community and are iffy about it just look at how dedicated their fan base is (though it is small). If thats not enough then just google top TV Comedy of 2012 or something like that and almost every result is Community. Listening to some Daybreak to get ready for the premier

Community was supposed to come back on Oct 19 but NBC pushed it back to today. So today is Oct 19 for community fans. New Girl is good but Happy Endings is better; the writing is on par with Community. Happy Endings is the best comedy you aren't watching. it's about to get canceled though.

yes happy endings and community are my favs. It's a shame crap shows like 2 and a half men get better ratings. There's not even 2 and a half men anymore..ashton kutcher as a billionaire genius i don't get it.
Happy Endings is currently half way through the 2nd season. I don't blame you that you haven't seen it ABC has done the show dirty since the first season. It's been moved around so much no one knows when it comes on any more. Just in the past couple of months it was on at the same time as New Girl, moved to Sunday nights and now most recently on thursdays in an hour block... I think... Thank goodness for DVR! This is the show with Damon Wayans Jr. The writers from New Girl are friends with the writers from Happy Endings. The actor that plays Schmidt had a small role in the first season of Happy Endings. Also, when Damon left New Girl (he was/is Coach) to be on Happy Endings the New Girl writers put it in the script that Coach left them to be with other White People. pretty funny. First season of Happy Endings is funny, but I'm guessing when they saw how they were being treated they stopped caring about being a run-of-the-mill sitcom and went nuts. Now all the Characters are basically cartoon characters.
