Steve Nash also called out Dwight today that players play through pain all the time.

What Nash said wasn't that bad. He also said he didn't know how much pain he was in.

To be fair, Howard hasn't been healthy this whole season.

    He should be sitting.

Howard's PR team (if he has one) needs to teach him some self-restraint. Every time he rambles on like this, he makes himself look worse and worse.

So basically it's whether or not you take Dwight for his word on being in extreme pain.

    This is getting UGLY.......

Just waiting for the physical violence to kick in. I can see Kobe or Peace jacking that big goofball in the face....

Really, I still think it is funny that Kobe thinks that Howard not playing is an excuse. There is more than enough talent to get to the playoffs without Howard and Gasol..... I just think that Howard pisses Kobe off and is becoming his whipping boy.

Dwight is a huge prima donna. But from what I've seen from him over the years, the man plays hard on a regular basis. In the playoffs, he's basically been unstoppable except for his free throw issues.
Him and Kobe just aren't the right teammates. The Rockets would be perfect for Dwight. Good group of young guys who know how to play hard while also having fun at the same time. Kobe is just too serious and the whole culture of the Lakers trickles down from him.

Howard should rest, so he is healthy if we want him later

The problem is that they need to win the next 70% of their games to make the playoffs. If Howard rests, there's no point in coming back cause they'll probably miss the playoffs anyways with Pau out also.

He'll most likely leave LA after this season. Too much turmoil in LA.

This whole situation could've been averted if they would've just signed PJ instead of D'Antoni.

Howard has officially earned the "it's always something" badge.

    Anywhere but here.

Most of us would do the same thing Howard is doing. After Brook Lopez got the max for playing 5 games last season, why risk getting a career-ending injury and losing $100 million. He's right, nobody is going to take care of him. No one will pay his bills.

I think Kobe calling out Dwight on these injuries is a joke. There are things I think you could call out Dwight for in the past, his heart, his lack of fire, smiling when the team is getting killed but, not injuries. So Kobe has played with a finger issue, so what, it's a finger not a back and shoulder.

If I was Dwight I'd shut it down, get surgery, rehab his arse off and come back like a monster next year. Big eff you to Kobe.

Can't say I'm not happy that Lakerland is imploding, I'm ecstatic but, damn.

Get WELL and come sign with the Rockets this offseason with much to prove.
