Not sure if the truck was even the same color. According to the Huffington Post article the truck was gray. The picture of the truck mistakenly shot at is blue.

Lol @ LAPD BOR findings. The man's face was injured but no boot marks where found on his face. What did they expect to find on his face? Skids from the sole??

I have family members that have dealt with LAPD before and I say I'm not surprised one bit. Pretty much lost everything he worked for at that point over reporting Unnecessary use of force and the coverups by the LAPD.

I'm guessing a lot of it is true. I don't trust the police.

Of course nothing excuses murdering innocent people.

Most people here know I'm pretty pro-cop, but it's common knowledge that LAPD is totally corrupt. Impossible to be pro-cop when that department is involved.

What this loon is doing is reprehensible and I hope they catch him before he can kill anyone else. But that rebuttal to his manifesto by LAPD is pretty weak...

Not to make too much light of the situation, but the second half of his manifesto which consists of his musings on various celebs & politicians is well, unique.

Also he makes a very good argument for gun control re: AR 15's in the first half. Really.

Yikes. That bit posted by SamFisher is so chilling because it's so normal. WTF. It doesn't seem like the same writer as some of the anti-LAPD stuff.

What does it feel like now to be one of the guys he praises? e.g. Larry David.

I tend to think he's absolutely nuts and was terminated with cause, but... the LAPD's response about people falling bushes and crap like that... is just really odd.

Gawker has the full manifesto posted. I highly recommend reading it. If I'm the LAPD, I'm terrified. Craziest story I've ever seen.

Btw he mentions his football concussions briefly. Wants his brain studied.

Hope he figures out a creative way to kill himself besides putting a gun in his mouth.

    He's a vigilante. I don't support that but he didn't just snap.

A vigilante? He murdered the daughter of the guy who messed up his appeal and her fiancee.

There's no vigilante in that. Plain old murder.

I don't doubt the guy got screwed over by LAPD...but murdering someone's kids out of spite - that's just plain revolting.

Quan is a sellout Asian but I don't blame the guy. Joining the PD is like a joining a gang, Quan became one of the good ol' boys in helping cover up everything and probably committing quite a few atrocities himself throughout his career. The movie "Dark Blue" (2002) with Kurt Russell and Kurupt is the most accurate portrayal of the LAPD. These Good Ol' Boys are descendants of the most evil violent Demonic Klansmen from states like Texas and Mississippi. Grand Cyclops, Grand Dragon, Grand Wizard.. some fawked up silly titles.
