Hey LeBron! We have a spot on our team for you! I know how much deep deep inside you want to play with "The Beard" in Houston. :) you just don't know it yet.

In my non-homerish opinion: Harden > Wade.

Now to get him some real help before we break the poor guy down. Everyone is expendable except for him....

Doesn't get better than compliments from 2 of the best players in the world.

Harden's making his case for being the best 2 in the league.

I have no idea what you are talking about. The only time I've ever bought up Mayo is in relation to Harden since there was a thread about the two months back. It seemed there were some people who thought the two were comparable. A few more basketball knowledgeable posters knew how wrong that was though.

In Yao threads I'm eagerly trying to remind people how great the guy was. I've never bought up Mayo in a Yao thread.

I stay the hell away from Lin threads because they are basically breeding grounds for Trolls.

Yeah I bought up Mayo here because I thought it was hilarious how some people thought Mayo was even comparable to Harden and how Dallas got him on such a great deal too!

    i agree with Nate Jones.

Kobe and Wade are still the better players today for sure. But won't be tomorrow.

I was on to something there but our convo was cut short. Anyway, here was my next question..

If you were the GM of the Lakers and given their current situation (team record, injuries, players age, salaries etc..) and a trade where you basically acquire Harden in exchange for Kobe was offered to you, would you do it?

Mayo is what ignorant people claimed Harden was, "only a sixth man". Mayo is Jason Terry 2.0. Nice sparkplug, not a #1 option, never will be.

Harden though... Harden is something special. You might compare him to another sixth man, Manu, except for one key difference:

Manu came into the league at age 25 and took a couple seasons to really get going. Harden at age 23 is already as good as Manu at age 27, and he's doing it while being asked to carry a much heavier load.
