I was referring to the total rebounds for the front court (minus Asik).

Against the Heat, Smith is not undersize at all. He has the size & strength to bully Haslem who is the Heat's centre or rather their biggest player at 6'8 235lbs. And speaking of undersize, Patterson was playing the centre during certain stretches, how's that for an undersized centre?

    That's right.

We could have easily scored 120+ at the rate we were hitting tough shots tonight. Also, remember this about our season average: We played r****ded iso ball for a full 17-game stretch plus a full 8-game stretch this year, and we have random r****ded iso ball sprinkled in even when we weren't doing it full time. That's more than half the games we were running that r****ded iso ball and suck doing it. It wasn't just something we decided to do for this one game. It's a trend we are seeing after 50+ games.

Thanks, yet their bench still outscored ours 25-16...

They were not setting enough effective screens.

So to win the West you have to play fast paced and high octane offense, since fast teams beat the crap out of defensive teams. But to stand a chance against the Heat you need low post presence...

I say the NBA needs to stop this East vs. West Conference crap and just let everyone play everyone 3 times a year = 87 games. Because the way it's structured now, the Heat will be Champions for the next 5 years.

Lebron and Dwayne are jacked up super mutants that also have the no-call flop to help their game out. Not much can be done.

Cole did well tonight, but mostly it was because their bench played like 30% more minutes than ours.

This is like what happened after we blew out Chicago, fewer picks after a win or two. The coaches always seem to forget it from time to time.

Their traps were only consistently effective when we were the playing "Please trap up with impunity!" r****ded iso ball.

Amazing how Superstars like Wade & LeBron are bizzarely more complimentary towards the young rockets than supposed Houston fans.

Well, when we do crush teams, we score 120+, and last night we scored 140, so....

We can agree to disagree then.

In my opinion our defense, turnovers and failure to secure rebounds were our biggest problem. In your opinion it was our offense.

    Yes, when we "crush" teams.

Miami isn't a team you can expect to score easily on.

They know how our offense rolls. No defense can stop us. The only thing that can stop our offense is either a back end of a b2b or Mchale asking for iso ball.

Not really seeing a whole lot of player hate here. Usually all the LOHs come out of the woodworks every time McHale decides to play r****ded iso ball for a whole game, but not even seeing much of that tonight.

We scored 108 on them on the tail end of a b2b. If we had a day to rest, we coulda scored 120. Our step was just a little slower today. Harden was fresher today because he didn't try too hard yesterday. If we had a day's rest, we could beat this team.
