Our offense is not flowing this game. harden has a very good game. I think he has more isos than previous game but he is doing it efficiently. Lin is struggling. Not distributing the ball very well. His assist number is off.
Think about it this way, the elite teams never really gave nearly as much effort against the Rockets in the past years.

LeBron on Harden: "He has made superstar status. He is worth of the max contract he received. The offsense wasn't flowing as good as last night, but it was still ok. The problem is that the Heat got so many charging fouls going their way, and the Rockets made too many mistakes down the stretch. Lin's fouls on Uslam and Wade at the end are really bad mistakes.
They know that if they make lin struggle, they disrupt our offensive game... Lin and the team is also not doing a good job fighting the trap.. Lin is not passing fast enough and our guy is not working hard to make themselves open.. But heat 's defense is known to be very good...
Good point. These teams get up for Rox because they know they can be dangerous now that they have a legit star.
I included Anderson in the mix and not Aldrich because Anderson played 28 minutes. I guess if I were to only count the forwards, it would only be Parsons, Patterson, and Morris. And if only the #4 spot, then only Patterson & Morris with 5 total rebounds, in 62 minutes of playing time between them. Just horrendous. Smith has the right physique for a strong #4. I think he is undersized as a backup center. He doesn't play defense.
All those charges made me pull my hair out... All well, on to the next game. Good job, great effort!!! LOL
The foul on wade was not that bad.. Time was running short and I could not think of anything better. I thought we should have done a better job in the paint.
It's not about Harden hogging the ball. I didn't say Harden was hogging the ball. Everybody initiating the offense was on an island today, Harden, Lin, Uglas, Anderson even, and Harden is the only player who is decent at that r****ded iso ball. Do you understand now? This is not a complaint about Harden hogging the ball. This is a complaint about the kind of offense the coaching staff was running which has consistently proven to suck for the Rockets.
I agree with you on protecting the paint part. Wade shouldn't have gotten that rebound if the Rockets boxed out better.
I think his first game in Miami last year was not as bad as the stats showed. He was finding open guys although he got trapped a few times.. He does not seem to be very confident when playing against heat
Rockets of the past didn't have the media hoopla we have this year. We won those past games because elite teams would just take the day off. Now they're looking at the schedule and thinking, "We're going against Beard and Linsanity, the whole world is watching, let's crush them."
Good to see the league's best player recognize Harden's awesomeness. All good. Good night ClutchFans. Great effort tonight. On the the Trail Blazers. Let's get a win!
Yknow, i'm not mad that they lost. I am just mad at how they lost. They really had a chance to win that game.
