Not play defense. At all. In fact, he plays negative defense because HE CAN'T STOP FOULING.

I said I would be happy if the Rockets if could 1 of the GS or Heat and at least put up a fight if they lose one so I'm not too mad. Lakers and Portland need to lose pronto though.

True. But he needs to learn to face this kind of defensive pressure and overcome it. He can't hide forever. Somebody's gotta give Harden help up there and we can't just wait for Morey to save us, we need our boys to grow up. Lins just not ready yet.

I wouldn't use these words at all. Basketball is still a team sport. This whole - Lebron should hit the game-winning shot. Or who should take the last shot is utter heroball garbage. Whomever has the best shot - takes the shot. End of story for me.

We got beat. End of story. I'll have to note there were some dirty underhanded moves that are part of the game I caught on the floor but other than that - the Heat swarmed 2-3 guys at a time and suffocated our people at points in the game. It was tough ~ Rockets still are rather young and quite honestly - pound for pound. The Heat have years more muscle-maturity ~ the only way I could see the Rockets beating the Heat is running the floor as fast as they did against the Warriors - and NONSTOP. The Heat in the 1st half did spend a bit of time out-pacing the Rockets and moving the ball quickly.

The ball had glue on it for the Rockets at certain points but mainly we were moving too slow and it was too easy for the Heat to swarm.

I think the worst point of the night was when Anderson and Patterson failed to rebound the ball - leading to a Dwyane Wade recovery and foul on the Rockets.

I hope they review that in film session 100 times.

Rockets should have taken this game....didn't like a few of those plays at the end...Anderson should have taken a 3 instead of driving in and getting the charge. Lin needs to stop admiring James and Wade and play his game....he's playing at Chalmers level.

I think overall we were the better team because we didn't have any rest. Our players were off a step in our breaks, which is our identity. We still scored 18 in the paint, maybe more because that's what they said around mid 4th. I mean, the NYK beat this team twice and blew them out and we beat the NYK twice and blew them out.

The really pathetic thing tonight = Parsons and Patterson had 4 rebounds COMBINED.

Miami's one of the worst rebounding teams in the NBA and we barely outrebounded them 39-38.

So Lin is the third best player tonight? You can't tell by reading the comments here. You thought he was the worst player out there behind Marcus Morris.

Do the Heat lead the league in playing rested against back to back teams? Schedule makers screwed us from the get go.

James Harden (& Omer Asik) and everyone else. Get that guy some help already. Great job, great effort tonight, all for naught. ****!

Turned out to be good game. As most people know and keep saying, Rox are just another all star/borderline all star away from competing with elite teams. Right now, Harden has to play lights out against elite teams to have a chance. Why did McHale give Anderson big minutes over Parsons in the 4th?! He wasn't playing well enough to be in there over Parsons. Oh well...

Agreed...that was a big missed rebound...both just standing there like nothing's going on.

Same here, if one was to feel okay about an L this is the one. We played all out to the very end. We didn't let them blow us out. They were well rested and we were on the end of a b2b. They also went desperation mode on the foul draws when we would close their lead.

    Booo.
We had a chance to send this to overtime and possibly win this one.
Harden was beasting but seriously Lin should have the ball and be playmaker.

Parsons shouldn't have been inbounding the ball. Parsons, Lin, and Harden should've all been free to potentially shoot the ball in the last 20 or so seconds.

A few sketchy calls against us but whatever. They did call that travel or whatever (TV was muted) against Lebron. He looked pissed.

    Let's go Mavs!

I can't believe I just said this...but as long as Portland loses it's all good.

Facing this kind if defense is good for us. We need to know what it takes to win. This was as close to playoff atmosphere as any regular season game and they brought it. What a ridiculous team. Almost demoralizing till Harden showed us that there is hope in the future.
